    No other artist has taken carnatic raagas to the masses in these scales and intentions. Leaves even individuals with little musical knowledge glued to this programme most suitable for the u-tube era.....pranams..

    Accidentally I viewed this small video. I do not have any comments except to say, that tears were flowing from my eyes and I was totally immersed in the explanations with the melody of Dr. Charu. God bless her

    when I was in my teens 30 years ago I had a bet with a friend that nagumomu is devagandhari . he disagreed and told that this is abheri. we went to lalgudi jayaramanan sir to clear. he confirmed it as abheri and so I lost the bet. in this video you have cleared that both are same ragas. thank you madam.

      Sir, it's not devagandari, it is Karnataka devagandhari,
      Aberi nd Karnataka devagandari r same, not aberi nd devagandari

    This is my favorite raaga which I have been enjoying since my childhood. now I am 64 years old and still love to listen to this raagam again and again. I would love to hear the original abheri under NataBhairavi (20MK) indicated by shri Krishnan. This video by Smt Charulatha Mani is superb. Sarveswaran

    Fantastic explanations.... They come from deep within. Being choked with emotion is mutual, the synchronisation of harmony is overpowering. Yet the raaga is so humble, pleading for "moksha" to the almighty , the infinite , the insatiable. Madam, you are such a good teacher.

    The episode on Abheri or Karnataka deva gandhari..was an excellant exposition of the Ragha such that even persons like me who don't know karnatic music could enjoy and got educated on the Raga and may be able to identify the raga in future...It was educative and entertaining...
    I appreciate the feel with which she conducted the programme.

    Delightful even though nagumomu was short. Good diction and such overwhelming is the bhavam Charu. Good hoping more and more from you. I was traveling in Vienna and after La Traviata opera i ended up having a talk there and to my surprise as were speaking Indian classical music the gentleman simply showed me your videos. You have good reach to take music to even Carnatic illiterate :-) I felt like sharing this. He could have showed me several other videos or musicians but it was such moment he ended up showing your video search and asked is this Indian classical music !!

    MAESTRO Ilayaraja used Abheri in the SOULFUL "Naadham en Jeevane" from the movie Kadhal Oviyam, sung by the legend S. Janaki. Also, the evergreen classics "Ennai Thottu Allikonda", "Poove poochudavaa" and the EVER-popular "Guruvayoorappa", the super-CLASSICAL "Chinnan Chiru Vayadhil" and many more...........
