- There are two different Rainforest Cafe locations on Disney property. This video covers the location at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. For those that don't know, Rainforest Cafe is chain restaurant with a rainforest theme. Patrons dine while surrounded by animatronics and décor meant to encapsulate the atmosphere of a rainforest.
The cuisine can be described as classic fast-casual comfort food. We've dined at every restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom except for this one, although we have dined at different Rainforest Cafes previously.
During the video we try out some of their signature eats and provide a tour of the restaurant. See our thoughts, favorites and how we think Rainforest Cafe compares to its competition at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.

The wife and I watch all your vids. We tried Cowboy Chicken because of you (great experience) as we are local also. I may be wrong but I don't believe Landry's owns the Boathouse in the Springs; I think that is Gibson's out of Chicago. Can't wait to see what's next. Have you done a Homecomin vid yet?
You are right! I pinned this comment hoping others can see we're wrong. We almost got The Landry's card because we saw Bouthouse was on the list they gave us 😆. Apparently they operate a restaurant of the same name. Thank you for correcting us 😃. Happy to know you guys liked Cowboy Chicken! We were really impressed when we went. Homecomin is on our list. We went before we started vlogging, loved it but swear we were full for a straight two days 😆. It's just been hard for us to get a reservation to get back. Sorry about the mistake. We really appreciate all the support.
@@ThemeParkFoodies For Homecomin we have found you can walk right up around noon on the weekends and they tend to have a table with minimal wait times. Or look for reservations the day before around 10-11pm when people cancel their reservations. Homecomin doesn't do day of reservations. The Landry Card is definitely worth it. When we got it about a year or so ago it was $25 but then they give you a $25 credit to use at their restaurant so it is free and then you get another $25 to use during your birthday month

We've been to DW... 3 times over the past 6 years and it's damn near impossible to get a reservation at Homecomin, even with the 60 days. I've never thought about looking the day before at 10:00pm. Another great video! We have many family memories from the Disneyland (DTD) Rainforest Cafe. Getting the volcano dessert was such a big deal to my children! It used to have real sparklers back in the day. Sam... I love all your sunglasses. You are always on point when it comes to fashion :)

Great review! I remember there was a rainforest in my towns mall growing up and we went there once and I was amazed! Also they served waffle fries with the kids menu and it was the first time I ever had a waffle fry and was amazed! Great video!
Yes, I went to one in a mall growing up too and I remember thinking it was SO COOL. It's still pretty impressive and a fun place to eat. Although food wise, it's so hard to compete with the other Disney restaurants. Your first waffle fry experience- it left a lasting impression! Thanks so much for watching :)

I remember going to the one in Edison New Jersey with my mom & my aunt back in the late 1990S when me & cousin were kids. Now I see some things have changed a little bit since I was last there with my mom, my aunt & my cousin. For example… Last time I checked, the Crocodile I saw looked a little like one of the Crocodiles that featured in Jumanji. Only now I see that it’s been changed. Anyway, Then many years later I went to the other one at Walt Disney World in Disney’s Animal Kingdom with my mom back in 2007 & 2009. Such as where you were. I even tried the T.Rex Cafe in Downtown Disney. The same years at Disney World.

Oh my gosh!!! I said in the video the only one I've been to was in a mall in Long Island when I was younger. I'm glad they are still around, such a fun atmosphere.

We love Rainforest. When we go to AK we eat at Flame Tree and Rainforest. We sit at the bar and drink and get appys. Is the food 5 star ? No. But a very fun atmosphere and to be honest great drinks and appys...

We haven't been to the Disney Springs location yet, but I know it's the biggest one in the world. That's such a nice tradition :)
This is kind of random, but, if I say so myself, I make a pretty awesome Chicken Quesadilla. From some random fan on the internet, here's the marinade I use...
2 garlic cloves, crushed/chopped
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 lime, juiced
1 Tbsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp cayenne (remove if you don't like it spicy)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp white sugar
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp freshly ground pepper
Put in a ziploc bag and marinade for 4 hours. I usually grill these to 165 internally, but they can also be pan fried. My brother gave me this recipe and I like it a lot. No idea where he got it from though. Another comment for the stratosphere!

Haven't been to Rainforest Cafe in a few years but your video has peeked my interest again. I would always get the Rasta Pasta and thought it was pretty good. Have never understood why there is no Rainforest Cafe in Myrtle Beach though 🤔 🤷♂️

Haha last time I ate a this particular restaurant it was because I messed up opening time of Animal Kingdom and needed to hang out somewhere. So breakfast it was. Our Rainforest Cafe near DC closed many years ago.

It’s definitely better priced than most Disney restaurants. I enjoyed my food more than I expected. Yes, definitely loud but FUN 🤩
25:21 I do want that shirt, first time I’m seeing it 😂 As I always say when I’m recommending the Rainforest Cafe to friends and family… you don’t really go for the food, but the food isn’t bad. I consider myself to be something of an expert on the Rainforest Cafe, one of my favorite places to go and just hang out watching the animatronics and the thunderstorms - which pop off every 22 minutes on the nose 😁 I came in ready to defend my happy place, but was glad to see that you all enjoyed the experience more than you expected to! The Rainforest Burger can be very hit or miss. It’s been awhile now since the last time we went to the DAK location - but I will say that the food is a bit better at the Disney Springs location, which also happens to be the largest Rainforest Cafe in the world 🤩 If and when you do try that location, lean hard into the specials; they’re usually pretty good, particularly against the Rainforest Cafe standard lol great video, guys. ✨
The shirt was made for you. I found it to be more relaxing than T-rex café, even with the monkey screeches. We definitely enjoyed it more than we expected. We'll have to make it out to the Springs location one of these days. I'm glad we did Rainforest Cafe justice, thanks for watching!

You do not! The entrance is to the left before you enter the gates so you don't need a park ticket to dine here.

Never been to rainforest Café in my life. But I have been to T rex and boathouse. It looks like normal chain restaurant food. Which is not a bad thing the atmosphere looks like a lot of fun.
Boat House is definitely the best in the Landry line up & Trex is very similar too Rainforest Cafe. It’s definitely not a “must do” but it is fun!
We enjoy Rainforest Cafe once in a while. I think the atmosphere is fun and the food is OK for us too!
It's a fun spot, hard to compete with other restaurants in Disney though!

I have been there a couple of times, just to give them another chance… it’s hands down the worse food!
It's a unique atmosphere, but definitely one of the weaker food options on property.

Great Video! Rainforest Cafe is a one and done for me. I equate it to a Chilis or Applebees like Sam said. I think if you have kids, its a great place, but there are SO many better places in Disney to eat. The smores dessert broke my heart. lol
It is definitely Applebees level 😂 It’s a fun atmosphere and we genuinely enjoyed what we ate, but if we weren’t local- we never would have dined here. Thanks so much for watching ❤️
