Sorry, the tempo choice was my call. Since I sang with Ray Charles, I wanted to make sure that the (custom) lyrics to this classic blues that I was singing would be heard and understood by the appreciative Slovenian audience. Next time I go back, I’ll do it uptempo for you! 😎
