- In today's video I show you 8 extremely powerful weapons in Skyrim, and their locations.
Skyrim is beautiful, but also pretty dangerous! As Dragonborn, you need the best weapons in order to defend yourself. Most standard weapons look fairly average and perform average. Today I present 8 (technically 9) of the best weapons in Skyrim that look amazing and are deadly!

fun fact: a dwarf threw volendrung into the air and it landed in hammerfell. the dwarves moved there, and, well, you can guess how hammerfell got it's name

I've played Skyrim so many times and I didn't know about a bunch of these. Or maybe I just sold them without looking lol.
They're some great hidden gems! That's a shame about selling them on, but they made for a good profit though 😁

The Longhammer, Valds Lucky Dagger, Ghostblade, the Champion's Cudgel, and the Steel Battleaxe of Firey souls are also solid mentions; with the last two being significantly good for disenchanting purposes

I had to look up the Steel Battleaxe and now I need it! Soul Trap AND Fire Damage in a single enchantment that you can actually disenchant for??? Amazing.
@@ithalathegayguy : The Fiery Soul is bugged. The fire damage is set as 10 no matter how you improve your enchanting power. The only thing you can affect is the duration of Soul Trap effect.
Even so, it's perfect for warrior character as you only need to enchant your weapon with 1s of Fiery Soul Trap and you can hit enemies with 10 fire damage bonus for hundreds of hits before you need to recharge, even if your warrior has low Enchanting level. And each of your killing blow trap soul, together with Black Star they are godsent for leveling Enchanting.

SBoFS is a must early-game; then disenchant for mid-late game buffs.

It does. I can think of several. You can only get conjure flaming familiar for doing that one barrow where you help that nord chick get a scroll and she gives you a tome for it later. It's just like a normal familar, but... it's on fire. and likes to commit suicide. in an explosive manner. It's honestly a gas using it it's really fun.

Although I’ve always been a fan of curved swords… CURVED… SWORDS!

Lmao I can’t believe they put Windshear in the game, it makes every dragon fight a cakewalk as long as you have dragonrend😂. Great video btw!
Also the Bloodskal Blade can be used for quick one to two hit kills
First hit get close and use a power attack and if they don’t go down it’s usually the second normal attack that takes them down
I love the way these videos are edited, almost makes Skyrim seem like a cartoon and the Wizard himself as the grinning Buggs Bunny.

I love the Bloodskal Blade and imo it’s my canon weapon for my Dovakiin, Jon Skyblade.
It’s a very versatile and fun greatsword and it deals pretty good damage.
As a wizard that had mastered the Enchanting craft, only Windshear among those weapon can hold a candle to your dual enchanted Chaos Damage+Absorb Health/Fire Damage/Shock Damage/Frost Damage :)
Even weapons that cannot be smithed (Dragon Priest Dagger for example) can do a stupid among of damage with those enchantment. On smithed dragonbone or stalhrim weapons, even legendaty difficulty wouldn't be able to protect your enemies.

I love Zephyr. It stacks with the Quickdraw perk, so it fires extremely fast.
Also windshear staggers any opponent with light attacks. And you don't need to recharge it!

The longhammer is one of my favorites just because it has the damage of a warhammer while having the attack speed of a one handed weapon. When you’re in the late game and pretty much all two handed weapons kill in the same number of hits, the speed of the weapon becomes the most important thing.

Hey I have an idea for a video find out what’s the best use for the dead thrall spell… mine was a forsworn piliager mage who summon frost atronocts so I got two summoned Allys for the price of one
Also do you know about Fenriks Welcome? It’s in the hands of one of the Frozen Falmar during one of the Dawnguard DLC missions… IDK if it also true for the dawnguard side but I do remember getting it during the vampire side
One weapon I have grown fond of is "Torment" from Creation Club. 1H Daedric Sword with longest reach of 1handed weapons.

for anyone playing skyrim vr you should DEFINITELY go out of your way to get the Dwarven black bow of fate. if you have a technique down, this can come out as very powerful in a pinch when you spam the arrows.

I learned about windshear like an hour after I finished the quest that allowed for it's retrieval
Ah, sorry man :( If you're on PC, you can use console commands to obtain it and if you're on a newer console, you should be able to get it with a mod.
You can always return to the ship. As long as you didn't choose to eradicate the DB, of course.

The mod that overhauls the weapon looks is named "unique uniques"
Windshear, Zephyr, and Valdr's Lucky Dagger are all you need.

Thanks, someone already let me know, but no need to apologise! I prefer unique weaponry - the look, unique enchantments and lore behind those items can’t be beaten in my eyes. But I haven’t actually “played” Skyrim in a long time - I only boot it up for making vids these days
Windshear + Mehrunes Razor saved my stealth character multiple times on situations where I had to engage in combat
He's kinda squishy and isn't very optimized for open combat

Do you have a plan for playing new modded mage series as walkthrough ? I am looking for pure mage modded content in 2022 It'll be very fun in my opinion. Currently I am gonna try out the wildlander modpack. My system is not that good but still give it a try :)

The one issue that drags down Volendrung and Miraak's Sword (Aside from better non-leveled weapons you can get much earlier in anniversary edition) is that absorb Stamina is easily one of the WORST offensive enchantments.
The argument for it: Unlimited power attacks/Shield bashes
Counter-argument: Vegetable Stew does infinite stamina better by giving 1 stamina every second (which is enough for a power attack or shield bash), and all it costs is; 1 potato, 1 cabbage, 1 leak, and 1 tomato. the first 3 can be harvested for free and then grown at a house, and the tomatoes can be taken for free from Carlotta's stall in Whiterun (after helping her out with the bard in the tavern) every time she restocks!

Played every corner of Skyrim. And if I had to pick any weapon that suits a playstyle for most people? Zephyr takes the cake overall. The damage output with that speed increase, and specific perks to increase bow damage, is pure overkill in a Stealth Archer, and regular Archer buil.
It’s good but don’t forget about the Bow of Shadows from the CC, it’s even faster! 🏹

Your commentary makes it sound like you basically steal Zephyr, but if I recall, Katria’s ghost basically just lets you have it when she sees where it ended up. She managed to get a ghost-bow of some sort anyway, maybe some ethereal copy of Zephyr.
I didn’t intend to come across that way, and yes, when you take it she says “Take good care of it for me.”
I feel like the bow of shadows needs to be mentioned. It is perfect for any stealth archer.

While I have most likely been a bit jaded to normally good items by using the Smith/ enchanting glitch. But I am quite sad that magic in skyrim drops off at the higher levels. Or that you can't do something like enchanting with the spells or staffs.. also not sure if there even if craftable scrolls
The scaling trick for spells is Fortify Destruction potions.
Fortify Destruction as an alchemy effect actually does increase the damage of the spells, and is, to my knowledge, the only way to consistently do so.
I don't know if it's intentional, but the combo piece are the Cloak spells. Cloak Spells don't actually have a set range, the range is instead determined by the damage dropoff... which means increasing their damage through Alchemy also increases their range
Even before you use the Resto loop to disintegrate dungeons the moment you set foot in them, the basic effect of just a well made potion can coat an entire room
Great video! But what about the weapons in ae? I mean there is the umbra sword, the duskfang and the staff of worms for example that are quite powerful and deserve to be mentioned in my opinion.

Mehrunes razor is pretty weak compared to the weapons in this video. Its enchantment sucks. It looks cool af tho.

How to kill a legendary dragon
Step 1: Get winshear
Step 2: Get dragonrend
Step 3: dragonrend the dragon
Step 4: swing with windshear
Step 5: keep the dragon on the ground by spamming dragonrend
Step 6: realise that you are op
I felt like cheating when I just kept staggering alduin back instead of using dragonrend

I never use windshear because it is so good it makes the game boring. if you want easy mode pick it up but it can make the game TOO easy and will become very boring

Well, in lore anyway, in gameplay the ebony blade is a piece of shit. you can get a better weapon by enchanting an ebony greatsword with more drain health then Mephala will ever grant you, and it can be improved at a grindstone.
