Greece and especially Rhodes is definitely worth visiting it is lovely and very scenic as you can see on Gios movie! Lots of interesting and great places to see and of course great weather! Amazing man enjoy!!
Went Rhodes for two weeks literally last week was still there and it was amazing esp lindos for the shops if u love getting better deals returning again next year
Very nice video!!!! Comgratulations! What about Rhodes Aquarium? The most historic aquarium that was built in 1936! Also, Filerimos Monastery with the peacocks :) Seven Springs? Terme di Kalithea? Still many plces to explore on Rhodes
Best part of the island to stay in my opinion it’s the old town as it gives you a real taste of Greece regarding food and ancient architecture enjoy Rhodes 🇬🇷❤️
Great video but one correction. Early on you say the old town dates back to the 1900s. You're out by over 2000 years, with a city/town located on the site of the old town since before Christ.
@@travelwonderfun There is some merit in your comment. Restorative work on the old/Mediaeval Town was undertaken in the early 1900s when Rhodes became a colony of the Italian State. After centuries of neglect under Ottoman rule, many buildings, streets and infrastructure had fallen into disrepair. In short period of time, the Italian regime left a lasting legacy on the Island.
We visited Lindos this summer. The old town and the beach is very beautiful but our hearts broke, when we saw the poor donkeys there - it's such animal cruelty. They have no water and food the whole day, they have injuries/open wounds and they tied up in the blazing sun at the port. They also have to carry people that are way too heavy. It was terrible 😥🐴
Hi Eva I totally agree with you it is a sad thing that still happens pretty much everywhere around the world animals being used for touristy purposes. I preferred going up to the acropolis by walk rather than using the donkeys they were offering to go up. I wish other tourists would do the same.
