    Aubrey reminds me of someone I used to know, she was a real pain in the a^$£. She behaved exactly like Aubrey too at school and at home. Her mum and dad always defended her, even when she was caught red handed when she was up to no good.
    She eventually had a well needed, long overdue attitude adjustment operation with an injection of cold hard reality.
    It's sounds like Aubrey has had the first taste of what happens when you behave like a complete and utter brat, but she still has a very long way to go..

    My guess is there's either money or a vital organ involved in the "we need you" spiel. Got a kitchen to clean after mixing up some much needed banana bread (put a quarter tsp of espresso powder and a half cup of choc chips in the mix; can't waste a chance to have both my favorite things together). Will have this on for company. We'll see how it goes.
    I miss the Marge Simson voice.
    It'd also be interesting to see a behind-the-scenes thing where get to hear the voiceover talent's real voice, then the different characterizations. Such talent. The skits are such a nicething to have daily. Thanks ever so much for all the time and dedication that goes into all of it.
    And bloopers. That'd be a fun thing to see, too. ❤

      One of the smartest people I've ever met got ill in high school, and had to quit school. Once she was well, she was able to find work and worked her butt off. Eventually she got her GED and was qualified for better work and college. The fact that she caught on to new skills really fast helped her.

      To me, College is an advantage, but factors like just as important are hard work and perseverance. Having a College Education is not a guarantee of success, and having just a High School Education is not a guarantee of failure. In so many of these stories, it seems like the College Graduate expects to be automatically be successful just by having that degree.

    The parents never had control over her money, she just allowed herself to be their victim. And whst happened about the shop theft indecent?

    • @Solitaire001
      @Solitaire001 3 месяца назад

      She said that she paid them so they wouldn't force her to leave the House, plus she felt that she should pay since she's living there. However, she rightfully ended it when she left.
      Concerning the Shop Theft Incident, it is likely that no charges were filed against her. However, I think the MC should have been prepared to leave the House after that incident. Pack her stuff, walk out, never return, and then cut off all contact after the first phone call (just so she can get news of the disaster that was coming for her former family).

    The parents enabled Aubrey to feel entitled to things that weren't hers. Once reality began sinking in after the older sister left, Aubrey wasn't willing to live in it. In my experience, having a job isn't the worst thing. You may not like your position, your hours(or lack of them), some of the people you work around, or even the location, but working gives you something that makes the day go by. It gives you something to do. It may be repetitive most of the time, but repetition gets your mind off of the time. The first job I had was putting together wooden bed rails. I was on my feet most of the day, I made mistakes, and the job was in a warehouse downtown. Yet for the time I was working there, I was on time, I was responsible for what I did, and I wasn't a drain on my parents during the day.
