@@angelabell8725 I paid $500.00 for some and $1000.00 for others (same breeder). I do want to mention to make sure you get a good breeder with a health guarantee. About half of them get PKD (a kidney issue). I adopted a Himalayan, which is a division of Persians, several years ago from a rescue who came down with it. It was devastating. He was so sweet and beautiful. I know people dislike breeders but they are the only avenue I will go with now.
I have a persian kitten. He never like to stay alone, wherever I go, he follows. Kitchen , bathroom all places. After napping he always looks for his hooman to get kisses
I just got my first kitten and he’s a Persian! So far he’s adorable and super sweet. Thank you for this video! I want to make sure my kitty is happy and healthy! I named him Miyagi. 😍
Breeding cats so that their snout disappears into their head, leaving the animal with sinus issues, just because it's fashionable... Makes you wonder who the Animal is.
Yeah, I’m doing research about these cats for a paper but as I learn more, the more rage I feel against people who went out of their way to breed these cats into bad health, just for looks. It’s unbelievable.
Well I have a part persian (was a stray/street cat) and a full persian cat and they're the cutest! The full persian is sooo playful and rarely sleeps or rests but my part persian rlly likes to sit on my lap and is mischievous and smart, she just opened my wardrobe yesterday😂🤦♀️
I want an all white Persian cat like Mr Tinkles from cats and dogs and I could name him that too, or an all black one due to how cool they look as a huge black cloud with glowing yellow eyes.
We had a beautiful white persian boy who lived till 15 years. His name was Gizmo and he was our baby. We now have two Himalayan Persian boys who display much of what you were describing. Thanks for the awesome video.
@@FactsaboutCatsVideos hello , first of all , thanks for the reply . im sorry if you feel annoyed by me now , but i have a question , is it bad to make my cat sleep in an another room for overnight , because every time I do so she starts meowing and i feel so bad about it Ps. She's 2 months old
Hey, no problem. That's why we make videos, so people can learn and ask questions. She's a little bit too young to be let alone. She needs to get a little bit older and after that you can close her in another room
I adopted a free persian cat about 6 years ago now after he was abandoned at a vet's office, and he's a wonderful and sweet companion, but he does have a lot of health issues - the $800-$5000 cost of the breeder isn't the most major cost you'd need to be prepared for with these kitties.
Persian cat is just very civilized that’s why it doesn’t react like savage animals. I don’t like the narrator using attributes like lazy or not very smart. Jumping around like crazy isn’t a sign of intelligence.
I love my Persian but he is the biggest asshole. He’s an older cat (unknown age exactly) that I adopted about a year ago. He is extremely territorial and will attack my female American shorthair tabby any chance he gets so I have to keep them physically separated. He also bites when I try to pet him and he never cuddles. Lately he has been pooping out of the litter box. He seems and looks healthy so I think his behaviors and bad temperament are due to his previous owner (unknown history). He’s such a menace.
We just found an abandoned Persian cat on the streets, and we took it to the vet, yada yada yada, and we were told to not touch it for some time until it heals. I just wanted to know, since the cat is 1 year old already and not a kitten that i can 'pretend' to be the mother of, how do i make it trust me?
I have a part Persian cat who’s as quirky as they come. Like he got in the wrong line thinking he was in the chinchilla or raccoon line but came out a cat instead. His soft voice and fluffy fur are so adorable. He does indeed like to ‘relax’. I enjoyed this video.
J. J. in pic is part Persian with a doll face. He was a stray that I tamed over several years. He likes being outside at night, but doesn't wander off the property. He won't let other cats on the property. Birds, hedgehogs come and eat his food, he is not interested in catching birds, they can be a metre away eating his food and he ignores them. 🐱
I would love a doll faced orange Persian :-) I’d prefer him to be a male and name him Thutankhamon. Tut for short. (Name from king Thutankhamon of Egypt)
Aren't teacup breeds animal abuse??? Or is that just dogs? I've never heard about teacup cats but when I heard about teacup dogs years ago the practise was basically to breed the "runts" from the litters regardless of their health (and runts are more likely to be sickly) just to speedrun evolution towards the smallest possible version of the animal, sometimes aggravated by starving the puppies since malnourishment stunts the growth. Because of this they can have droves of health problems and have shorter life spans than regular sized versions of the breed. Honestly, any breeder selling anything as "teacup" sounds super shady to me. I'd distrust them just for using the word.
What are your thoughts on Persian cats?
Yup, a looot of attention :))
They look funny and cute
I have 4 Persians and they are super sweet and affectionate.

is there any different between a chilchilla cat and a persian cats ? i often get confuse, chilchilla is one of Persians but also different?
Chincilla is a persian cat with a certain coloration and is considered a separate breed in Australia, I think, but not in Europe or US.
