AWB used to blare from car radios and open windows on the South side of Chicago back in the day, and is still on my playlist today (Soul Searching is at the top!). Untouchable soul. Thank you for posting!
I used to sing this song in a singing group,,in the 70s, in rehearsal, we won the gong show in a small club, I asked the house band to play this song, the drummer said, the beat was too funky , imagine that, he was black.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Hamish, Molly and Steve!! It doesn't get any better than this!!! Classic cut from the Soul Searching Album... I remember it well!! 1976 CLASSIC!!!! WOW!!!
You’re very very welcome! It was my first time at seeing all three together, so needed to keep a record. I’ve followed AWB and Hamish all my life and our kids do too, so this was a really special gig 😊
I have always loved my men in kilts ♥️ I loved being in my 20s when this came out. This song pulls at my heart strings and reminds me of a lost love. 💙 Or two. 🎶
this is so bad ass, sing the damn song hamish, miss that voice with AWB. a fan forever, but my group could have done the background for you. The background you have is tight.
This is ear candy...but you just need to take a listen yo " Cloudy" by AWB live on Person to Person Album.......Hamish will blow you'd mind. His very best! Sung at Montreux Soul Festival in Canada in 76. On you tube ...has to be the Cloudy on that album. Live. It's amazing! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶
awb nights at the odeon edinburgh was a special time in my life, we all had a thing for awb music, I am still a disciple, and will be till my last breath.
AWB not the same without these three guys. RIP Molly Duncan. They need to reunite. Hamish needs the big band supporting him. Band definately needs him. 🎶🎸🎷🎶
@@44joolz they did reunite for a short time for few appearances. Just wasn't the same as the voices and energy they had and sound they had when young. ( as with so many great groups...can't replace main singers and sound the same again...ever).
RIP MOLLY DUNCAN🎷
When AWB lost Hamlish they lost their identity and soul ..this man was the difference between above the top and mediocre..saw them live Oct 27th 1977. If you can name the venue..it was screaming awesome..QUEEN OF MY SOUL rocked the arena..
Totally agree, Hamish is so unique, although I still love to see Alan and Onnie. When they had Elliot Lewis, he was a pretty good at added the Hamish feel. Was that the Sandiago Sports Arena?
he's still got it, the best soul singer to come out of scotland bar none.
Totally agree Tom Rawley, Hamish is amazing and continues to be 😊
I believe that compliment is a bit limiting. Cheers.

Ferrone, Hamish y Molly creo que hasta esa ocasión, no tocaban juntos desde hace décadas... pero el feeling no se pierde, increíble pero cierto

Although he's gotten older he's still got what it takes, he's had to change to a lower key to sing in.
Still amazing and I am pleased you’ve enjoyed the video 😊
