    The display of the vectoring in real time on the HUD is so cool

    I'm not a pilot but I think you were at minimum speed.

      That’s what I’m demonstrating 😂 using thrust vectoring to keep a controlled stall

      Looks like terrible SFM to be honest. 100% cool looking but yeah don't think it flys very well.

      @@flyingalexdcs I mean in the sense that it has very funny physics that are literally MSFS like. You don't feel the transition between pulling a bit and pulling full G's. It just feels like UFO that has a limit on how much you can turn. Doesn't actually feel like a airplane that's flying by creating lift.

    • @flyingalexdcs
      @flyingalexdcs  9 месяцев назад +1

      With fly-by-wire and thrust vectoring it’s quite normal to feel like flying ufo. But no my mod doesn’t work like I just limit how it can turn by a value. It is determined by the lift and drag on each component. It definitely still need tunes but it takes time.

    Man. What jet are you flying? Thought that could be an F-35 mod but it looks more like a freaking Concorde.

    • @kuhnville3145
      @kuhnville3145 10 месяцев назад +5

      Based on his other videos it’s called the ‘Elytra’ but I’ve never heard of that. The Concorde is MUCH bigger and MUCH longer compared to its width. This looks like a weird NGAD thing.

    • @jo_240B
      @jo_240B 10 месяцев назад +4

      @@kuhnville3145 Of course, I was only kidding. An airliner could never compare in size to a single seater, much less a fighter. No way you wouldn't notice. But the design is kind of funny looking and the wings sort of resemble the Concorde's, which is really funny. Never heard of any "Elytra" either. Maybe it's a fictional aircraft.

    • @kuhnville3145
      @kuhnville3145 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@jo_240B definitely fictional, when I tried to find it all I was met with were plane skins for the Minecraft elytra. Also about the kidding thing, I see plenty of really dumb people who think they know what they're talking about so I usually correct them. Usually it's to stop the spread of misinformation by Russian bots but it's become a bit of a habit.

      Lol, nothing related to Minecraft. Chose this name just by random looking a word related to fly. Cockpit is F35. I worked on a fictional mod as I don’t want to have stress on making something has to be realistic. This project is an experiment for me to explore dcs modding. I chose this exterior 3D model just because it looks quite good and not too much sci-fi 😂

    If you have thrust vectoring, is there really a "minimum speed"? I think Betty just like to nag.
