I ordered the ZAMN/Ghoul Patrol premium editions and they literally took years (YEARS) to arrive. Their turn around times are totally unacceptable. It needs to improve and there is no excuse.

Yeah the whole situation really is inexcusable...I'm glad you at least finally got your games though and didn't get screwed over.

That was the one LR game I considered ordering because I was always interested in it. Will you ever go over it in a video?

You mean like a game review? Maybe at some point. I noticed there are playthroughs of it on youtube if you just want idea of what the game is like.

I am not a LRG fan-boy, like I am not a fan boy of any capitalist company. But when you collect games, what do you do when a game cost 1000 $ (example Trip World on Game Boy)? I spend a lot of money in videogames and like anyone, I have a budget. When LRG release the game for 40 $ with an official licence, how do you say no? What is the alternative? Anynone can be criticized, and should be, but basic logic has to prevail...

That's a fine position to have, and was my position when I ordered Dragon View. I wasn't really trying to tell people what to do themselves but personally I've lost confidence in LRG. When I see them taking orders for new products every week and being unable to fulfill any in a timely manner I start to wonder if the company will even still be in business two years from now. The alternative for me I guess would be to just buy the game off ebay if and when it gets produced finally, especially since they don't seem to be capping their production numbers anymore. Thanks for the comment!

@@philberto78 To secure a license, LRG incurs a substantial cost of $375k per game, purely for the licensing alone, separate from production, marketing, storage, shipping, and other expenses. This financial reality has shaped their business model - upfront payments from customers provide the necessary capital to cover all aspects of the process before commencing. LRG has been transparent about this approach since the outset. While acknowledging that the conventional method has its merits, we must recognize that LRG model grants access to games that might otherwise be unattainable. It's worth considering a scenario where a well-capitalized company foots the costs upfront for faster game releases. However, this could inflate the price to double or even triple LRG's offering. The fact remains that such prices are supported by the market, evident from eBay transactions. This perspective tends to be overlooked. Your strategy of purchasing from eBay rather than LRG might be effective for games like Dragon View, where scalpers can't demand exorbitant prices due to its lesser demand. Nevertheless, in other releases, prices are already inflated three to five times the original cost. And, as a reminder, we all operate within budget constraints...

I purchased a game from them in April of 2022 and the status says “still in production”. Paid close to $200, hopefully it comes one day.

Oh dang that's brutal, best of luck to you man. I have a bad feeling this company is just going to go under someday and a lot of people are going to be very disappointed by never getting the game they paid for.

I don't mind waiting. I thought I was going to see a preview of the game, but no. Just shipping complaints

I do show the actual product I got at the end of the video. If you wanted to see gameplay though sorry I didn't include it.
