replying late, but u gotta pre-compose so if u have to make changes, u can go to the original video inside of the pre-composition and make it from there

bro you placed the time remap keyframe wrong, if you add time remap (control + alt + t) there should be 2 keyframes already, at the beginning and at the end, but as soon as you activate time remap the hole layer will extend, drag the 2nd keyframe (right one) a bit to the right and cut the rest : )
