Back in those days, NASCAR was on top of the world. 90s/00s
I live in Turkey. I want to watch these races. Is there any telegram channel I can watch. Where can I watch?
@@Supremeballer1776 thanx
Yep, packed stands at most races.
That was great! Totally forgot about that race.
the all-star race is one of my most desired dreams in the world I have always liked to see that season in such a spectacular challenge, but the best thing is to see a member of hendrick Motospots, win there And that story is what I'm not going to forget, because it made me cry a lot to see a former member of the team for a long time but hey, that continues the All star race. 🐉
Jeff Gordon Winning with 2 Cars is why There will Never Be another of Him
Ok
Is this the Title to a Book or Something? They Also didn't Have To Go Through Inspection After They Got There Backups Out So They Probably Had One Of The Most Illegal Cars To Ever Win The All Star Race
@@jebediahgentry7029 I’ve been a Jeff Gordon fan for two decades and having the insight I do, that car was nowhere near legal 😂
@@JonathanWestcott probably the same for the other people that were able to bring out backup cars. I was never a big fan of Gordon's (Earnhardt fan) but I came to respect him in his later years in the sport when he was the elder statesman.
From '98 to '01 I was an Earnhardt fan till he was killed. From '01 to '15 I turned to be a Gordon fan. Jeff Gordon has always been the greatest driver in NASCAR. Shame I wanted him to win a 5th championship before he retired.
I miss Michael Waltrip, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, And Richard petty
The backups never went through tech 😂
Timmy Hill could've won too if he didn't have to go through tech
I'll never forget the 2001 All-Star Race. Jeff Gordon crashes with a bunch of others as the rain falls, getting the backup cars, restart the race, and goes on to win! That's one All-Star Race in history will be a classic example. All-Star Race is fun however! 🏁😁
sure hendrick won 4 championships by this point but to say our backup car is better than your primary car? thats a statement
No actually no, Everyone who had Backup cars had the advantage because they just brought them out without inspections. 1 hour so most those cars were "illegal'
@@nikkimejia6767 illegal, but the back up cars back then were no where near the strength of their primary. You would literally see them repair a wrecked car overnight instead of going to a car with no practice time. They have a check list of things they need to do before a race and teams often forgot something important like tightening bolts as well so they didn't know what they were going in with. What actually mattered was using the primary engine. Jeff didn't even have the best car that race, he just lucked into it
To bad NASCAR didn't do this last year when my favorite driver Kevin Harvick hit the wall at Texas because of rain. Honestly I think they should have allow him go to a back up because before the restart one of the roof cams you could not see because of rain on them
All I know I know is he definitely wasn't reading off of a prompter 😅
I can’t believe Steve actually was on jeff gordon’s team
I was there!, in the turn 4 stand. It was bizarre to watch, as where I was, it was totally dry. It took maybe a minute from the crash happening for the rain to reach where I was standing, but when it arrived you could understand why the crash happened. My memories of the race were mainly being confused as to how the drivers who'd crashed were allowed back in the race, as there was no clear explanation given to the crowd. Although, I'll admit, some of that confusion may have been due to the beers consumed while sheltering from the rain...
I was sitting over in between 1 and 2. I remember them saying they let them bring out the backups because they messed up in starting the race while it was raining. Such a great race.
v8 the best no rules
If someone wrecks they should be allowed to take and finish the race in a backup car.

Well everyone just crashed because it was raining at New Hampshire so yeah it happened agian
Ayyyyy

UH OH 666K SUBS
LOL I SAW IT TOO
@@dachadeyy7709 finished watching this when u posted the comment
Greatest race I've attended. There was no way I was leaving. Waited half the night to finish watching Gordon win that race in a backup car from the rear.
Ok new all star race. The all stars of Cup, truck and Xfinity all on the track at once. Like the Daytona 24 hours. Let's gooo!!
Imagine how good the original car would had been if they didn't bring out the backup let alone if it never rained.
Cool 🍁🍀🍃Nascar rocks
....
Well, if this isn't timely after yesterday!
Steve doesn't mention that they didn't roll the backup car through tech
24ever
LOL RAIN ENHANCED. BECAUSE OF WRECKS ☠
Nice first lelelleleleleelell

your only option is probably just watching the old races on the nascar youtube channel or fan uploads. I don't know if they show reruns outside of one specific channel in the US and I'm not sure if they even do that now.
@@Lost_Avenger89 thx
Terrible thing to do. That’s why they have lost so many fans.
