Guy Martin is a legend, he has retired from the TT and currently spends lots of time on TV shows ( Speed with Guy Martin) , the other accident shown in this video was from Connor Cummings ( local Manx rider) , he had a nasty one and spent some time st the hospital but was back racing the next year ( accident 2010) and still going on at the moment. I live in the Isle of Man, watched many races, the danger is there but it's something amazing to watch.
he broke his back for the maybe 2nd time raced on untill another crash broke his back again..survived gave up the isle of man and has broken many speed records in other crazy endevours thats guy look him up he is an amazing charecter loved by brits
More than two riders die here every race meeting (every year). It is the worlds most challenging and dangerous motorcycle race and also the oldest. In the 102 race meets held 269 riders have died and quite a number of spectators to.
You should take a look at Speed With Guy Martin, each episode he tries to break/set a world record in different types of machines, powered and un-powered, very interesting and you get to see how down to earth he is as well as how driven he is to compete and win, well worth a watch.
Guy Martin should be Knighted, he holds several world records like - - fastest on a wall of death, pretty sure he has also driven the world's fastest tractor (the farm kind), fastest on a toboggan....... best rider never to win a TT race (same as Stirling Moss was best driver never to win F1 world championship)...... oh and unless the footage is some idiot with a camera phone, fatal crashes will never be shown on any TV station
He's very much alive and kicking, currently building a bike to go 300mph

Guy Martin almost died on this hit. Glad he is still around. An English treasure.
Guy Martin is the best rider to have never won the TT. He has been successful since with good TV documentaries about all things to do with speed.

this looks like an abridged version - the full version they interview Guy in his hospital bed after the crash!
Guy Martin holds the record lap for the isle of man at an aversge speed of 136 mph and he is not dead
Guy and Connor both broke their backs that day, in the very same place where Guy crashed Dobsy a friend of both of them died the day before
If you react to Isle of Mann, the worlds deadliest race you will hear Conor talking about that crash he had
For anyone who's unaware they've raced on the Isle of Man for over 100 years (102) & the only time someone didn't die was in 1982
brave men. mad mad brave men
@@gartgreenside3657 Don't forget Jenny Tinmouth the 2010 record holder, she's got balls but no Adam's Apple.
all the riders expect someone to die, they all know that they are playing with fire. They all accept the risk
