I ordered some stuff from her. I like how she made everything eco friendly, including the packaging. Some would argue that it may be too much but seriously. If you are paying for quality stuff, you should get it in quality packaging.
I use as little packaging material as possible. typically just an earring card then tissue paper to keep it from slipping around in the box...I'll also write a note inside the lid and that's about it. All of the pretty papers and sacks are cute but all of that has to be factored into the final cost of the earrings and my goal is to keep my prices as affordable as possible while also keeping shipping costs as low as possible.
@@RaisingNobles saving your customers money should be the first goal of everyone's business. You saying "whats right for you and your business" is slightly blasé'. Dont you want to do whats best for your business like save your customers money?
I see what you are saying, however it isn’t always about trying to make everything as cheap as possible. Certainly cost of goods is a huge part of running a successful business but some people would rather pay $2 more and have a beautiful experience when they get their items. Would you not agree?
And I also don’t think “saving your customers money should be the first goal of everyone’s business” Some customers, especially those that shop handmade aren’t looking for the cheapest thing - they want quality and they want to support an artist. If they wanted cheap they can buy from shein or amazon
@@RaisingNobles agreed ...but Im not referring to the actual clay pieces being cheap. I use the highest quality clays, resins, 14k findings etc. That in itself is costly enough. The least we can do as makers is have their best interest by not overdoing packaging...recycling packaging materials & cutting back overhead costs as much as possible so it doesnt have to be added on to final cost.
Thank you for sharing! Can you please share who you ship through and what it costs generally? Is it just flat rate shipping or do you weigh each of your orders?
Thank you so much for channel, your incredible designs and videos . I watched it since a year and you encouraged me to start making earrings 😍but unfortunately I can’t find sculpey soufflé in my country (Saudia Arabia). I just find few color of premo clay in some store. I tried to buy it from online shop but it so expensive because of shipping so high (60 dollars for each color). Did you try DMO or Das or Mont Marte polymer clay? Thank you for your help and I appreciate it.
So glad you are enjoying the channel! Sorry about the clay issues - we are have supply issue in the USA too. I haven't tried those brands but if i do I will definitely share about it!
@raisingnobles adorable, thanks for posting! @bloombewilder170 thank you for sharing your beautiful packaging steps! I care a lot about being as green as possible so this is so helpful!
You would get cleaner cuts if you cut 5 or more sheets of paper at once rather than just one. Or you need a sharper blade. With that beautiful packaging. Be sure to include them in the price. Because, like we all know they goes in the garbage. ❤
Putting thought into your packaging is important - are you happy with your packaging or will you make a few improvements?

Do you recommend using a PO Box for the return address for your shipping labels? Or do you just use your home address?
I’m super curious about the leaf cards! Can you share any information about how you make them?
Love the packaging❤️😍👂🏻💍
isn't it pretty!

Where you buy this packing paper
Where are the boxes from? I can't see a link anywhere and sounds like you're saying eco and clues, but cannot find this anywhere
let me ask her
Great video. But I would love to know the size of the box she is using. Can you share the info?
She says it in the video
Super❤️ very beautiful 👍👍
I love this packaging idea! What size cotton bags did you purchase? Thank you so much for sharing! :)
The boxes aren't letter sized mailer in Canada... would cost $18 for shipping....could you do the same, but with a 5/8" box?
I really liked the video where does she get her boxes what size are they
She shared that info in the video :)
@@RaisingNobles i dont understand what she says after eco :(
@@lincyugalderojas889 I figured it out! Its a company called Eco Enclose :)
Genial, felicidades
My polymer clay earrings are breakable. Is this air-dry clay ?
no it is not air dry clay. if your clay is breaking then that means it is not curing properly
