Government should also raise salary of IAS to 10 cr per annum if it puts so many restrictions on their investments.
It's idiotic to expect honesty with below par salary, pathetic work life balance, frequent transfers and restrictions on investing savings.
Then resign from job if you are unhappy with 12 Lakh plus salary while the average 90% Indians earn barely 2 Lakh annually.
@@Apache1970 99% Indians don't work as hard as an IAS. I'm no government servant but, I think paying better salaries to top level bureaucrats is better way to tackle corruption instead of putting hope on their moral compass to remain honest despite a poor compensation.

Corrupt will anyway do corruption but, we need to provide a lucrative salary so that most talented and honest people enter services. Right now, why should a talented, honest person opt for IAS when they can earn 10x in private sector?
India is losing out on good quality public service because we don't pay enough to attract honest people.

There is no need for such efforts, instead the income tax department can easily track it through a simple data analysis eg. Daily transaction volume or monthly transaction volume, number of orders etc for AIS officers by their PAN card.

Stock Market is legal , then why the govt. is stopping the civil servants from investing in Stock Market.
Government wants to work for them yet don't give them much salary and still don't want to improve their living not by themselves also restricts .... And blocks from having perks!!!!!!!!! Meanwhile politicians who don't even know how to spell their own name and they passes bill of their own salaries, facilities keeping India in their pockets! Also, the businesspeople Improving their life and still enters into many reservations but earns twice as much so-called rich government officials. What is happening here?

Sir there is mistake in my upsc prelims form this year. Actually in my 10 th result. my name is " Suthar Mona Hiteshkumar.". But in form I fill the name . "Mona Hiteshkumar Suthar" ....So please sir tell me isse koi problem to nahi hogi na agey ? Aur ye me kese change kar sakti hu ??
A Notarised affidavit will have to be submitted to UPSC regarding name discrepancy. They will themselves ask for it when you will submit your DAF. Don't worry they will give enough time for it.

@@monalisuthar1653 In my case they never asked before Mains. In DAF 1 you will submit all your documents and they will scrutinize them only if you qualify for Interview.
Before Interview they will ask for the explanations and supporting documents for discrepancy(affidavit).
But i can't be certain about this as they may change their rules anytime.
But one thing i am certain that they will give you sufficient time and will not reject you straight away because of minor errors.
If you are still bothered you can yourself send an email to UPSC informing them about this.
