  • Hey Everyone! I thought I'd put together a little demo of one of my favorite guitars -- the Eastman T58V. It's a super reliable guitar that I enjoy taking on the road, and it stands up to any rigors of the road that I've put it through so far.
PLEASE NOTE: When the video says "Neck Pickup" and "Neck Pickup (Driven)" the second time, that is supposed to say "Bridge Pickup." My apologies!
This video features short clips of me playing the guitar on each pickup selection with both the volume and the tone knobs all the way up. I'm running through a Tone King Imperial, and there are no plugins or EQ on thesignal. I did my best to get the sound you are hearing to be the same sound I am hearing while sitting right next to the amp.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Trying to decide between this and the T64/V, and I feel really drawn to this one though I wasn't expecting that. Hopefully I will get a chance to play them side by side. Have you played the 64? I know they are different animals, I am ultimately seeking versatility. Nice playing, great demo. Thanks!

Thank you! Yes, I’ve had a few opportunities to play the 64. Like you said, they are different animals, but I could probably help you with your decision better if I knew a bit more about your playing? What kind of music do you expect to play on these guitars? I know you said you want versatility, but I’d say they both would fit a bunch of different styles.

Hi, Cody. Great video. Do you own all those vintage looking Fender amps shown behind you in the talking part? Thanks.

I do. Unfortunately, it is a sickness of mine.

@@CodyJungGuitar Better that "sickness" that makes good music versus something else. Keep it up!

If you can get your hands on an SB56/N-GD, I'd like to see that.

Great suggestion! They look like killer guitars, but I haven't actually gotten my hands on one to play. I'll do my best to track one down!

So that was neck then middle and then back to neck?

Oof, good catch! Let me see if I can fix that. Still trying to learn the video editing software! Thanks for watching.

For the record (and I'm assuming you know this and that's why you caught it), it is neck, middle, BRIDGE. Sorry!
