I've been pestered by ads for this wonder wrap crimper and thought I would buy one and share my first attempt with it. I will be making two things today a chicken wrap I would normally have during the week and then a delicious steak and cheese pasty. So grab a cuppa, put your feet up and lets see if this is new next big thing or just another bit of mail order tat...

Thanks you got it right when you said put the egg wash around the edge but I only use water.
i got one, took a little practice, but use it a couple times a week now, play with the ingredients, and watering the edges before crimping does the trick
Love mine. Fold the tortilla over first then the crimp lid and push hard.
Forget the micro wave just dampen the edges of the wrap and it will work perfectly & withe the pasty egg wash the edges of the crimp hope this helps……follow the instructions
steak and cheese made with chicken, peppers and onion……. lush…… interesting………. you need to seal the edges otherwise it will never seal properly………
Would this work with stag chilli in tin and cheese .... its got be done ..
Do you have to wet around the edges to stick?
Yeah, I did make them proper soggy, then press it quite firmly.
It helps it to stay closed if you we the edges first.
microwave wrap first , place in crimper , add filling, wet edges, close , seals perfect ... brush bit butter or oil etc on both sides, AIR FRYER 4 MINS , turn over another 3ish mins air fryer..........VOILA ...

You need to put a little water around the edge bab.
You didn't put water on the edges inside before you closed it.
Makes good pasty just cut the ingredients down a little it was your first try wasn't it?
First try straight out of the packet. Your right they do make a cracking pastie.I made a couple of mistakes, like not egg washing the seal on the pastry. I was disappointed with how the wraps were too small. Ive not used them since, but I'm going to do another video soon using the recipe card that came in the box see if that convinces me.

You overstuffed the puffed pastry
Water round edges and a bit to much filling.
You didn't do it right. You needed to fold the tortilla over and then crimp it instead of using the crimpit to fold the tortilla on the first try.
Not good i bought one it didn't seel, in the bottom of the cupboard now never to be used again,dont waste your money
Absolutely agree 💯 Mind has been used 3 times just to give it a fair go, mine will be in the cupboard till the next crimpit video.
With pastry put cling rap in the crimper before the pastry
You didn't do it right mine seals every time
What a complete waste of cash. Just folding it manually and using a fork is way better.
