But I said, let me leave a comment because I feel it can help you❤️. This is what I've been telling all my girls who are having babies after me.
Breast feed and bottle feed is my recommendation. Whether it's formula or pumped breastmilk.
Let me explain
One mistake I made was exclusively breastfeeding for a full week once my baby girl latched perfectly!
She did not want her bottle after that! As well as she didn't want any other bottles I've purchased that were "nipple" like. Now she's 1 year old, and we are still weaning,🫠 GURLLL! She will take a sippy cup, but she still want her Mama always.
Soooo... I'll say start adding the bottle now while he's still itty bitty.
Trust, do the bottle now so that Daddy can feed him as well because although lovely and convenient atm, it may not be when u want a breakkkkkk! May Jesus guide you in whatever decision or route you decide to go 🙏🏽 ❤️ 🥰

But certain things should be and are a “everyone conviction” like cursing is spoken about plainly. We know that lust is a spirit and a struggle, we’re called to keep from having a fellow brother or sister fall.. so why entice them ya know? I can understand some outfits but like the see through dresses or having our butt cheeks showing should be understood is a no.

Girllll! I was in tears transitioning to combo feeding 😭 biggest thing I will say is use the absolute slowest nipple you can find that way it not "easier" to bottle feed & gets frustrated going back to breast feeding. Good luck momma 🫶🏽 best thing I did was have both available

Hey Maya, I know I’m probably late because you uploaded this like a week ago but to hear about the modesty thing. I think that whoever left that comment should’ve read Joel two versus 1-13. Because it seems like she only read verse 13 and used that scripture to justify her comment which was completely off. That scripture was talking about repentance for a people living in perpetual sin. It wasn’t even really talking about modesty. We all know that back in biblical days when people would show that they’re sorry or they had a heart of repentance they would rend their garment or tear their clothes. But in this scripture, it was commanding the people to have a true heart of repentance and don’t just give lip service or tear your clothes to act like you have a heart of repentance. Breastfeeding mom here:: they really dictate, I'm sorry---He ain't gonna let you do what you want. Let me tell you.. 😂I have a 2 year old😢would go wack o 😊if I withhold.. I've tried the weaning.. babygirl refuses bottles unless it's fruit juice.. each one is so different.. she's my third child.. first two were not like her... if they have been primarily breast fed it's a little bit more to take it away even for a day.. so pumping is a must.. I'm thinking of the babies... I'd be pumping up a storm..I'd be so sad to lv her

Maya, that was my comment last week and thank you for addressing it. However, my comment was not hateful at all and I am sorry you felt that you needed to address it or defend yourself. I was speaking in general because I see soo many people relating christianity to "dressing". Even some pastors who wear robes in church do you know what on their off days. My personal relationsip with God and everyone including yours is different to each other. None of us are better than the other. He sees us all differently so my comment may seem like I need prays to you but but trust me, I am good and God got me, always. Thank you for your prays and I receive your message. I do agree with you. I feel like us Christians judge outward appearance way too much rather than focusing on the persons real intentions. God Himself can actually see a person‘s true intentions, unlike us, and He does not judge based off of appearance. I understand both of y’all’s perspective and respect them,but I think I agree with you a little more. Clothes alone don’t determine our walk with Christ. How we treat people is a big part of that. But I do think that if God is directing you to a certain direction like in Maya's case, her outta wear, then I think she should follow his direction which is what she is doing. Maybe God wants some of us to focus on our heart, or rallying for him more in some other way that does not have to be about our clothing. So I agree with you. Its not all about clothing but what you feel in your heart.
I understand your perspective but the way we dress does matter. God calls us to honor our bodies which pertains to clothing as well. Yes it is about our heart too. But it’s like let’s be fr… walking around like a lot of women do today exposing themselves isn’t honoring to God. Regarding breastfeeding: prep baby Ezra- he will miss youand the nursing and it could go really smooth or difficult. I suggest Maybe just pump before you trip since he'll be familiar with your breastmilk and tk the bottle easier ..at least for the 4 days that way he's still getting a balance. I breastfed my 3 babies total 5 years. Don't stress it , you got it ❤

I thought using that word and her response was quite a stretch but I do see where she is coming from and I do take accountability for my comment as it affected her. I myself actually dresses somewhat modestly but I don't let it define my Christianity.

Im so glad you addressed that comment on modesty in such a gracious manner, the message i believed people missed is the fact that yes each of us do have our own convictions and what many people tend to miss in the conviction is surrendering and allowing the holy spirit to refine us in so that the lord can transform our heart, our mind so that we can see the way God sees us. Your milk supply might decrease if you don’t pump at all during the 4 days that you’re away from your baby. It’s supply and demand so if he’s nursing less you’ll produce less. I hated pumping too but I had the elvie pumps and I know they’re pricey but they were so worth it for my breastfeeding journey; I would just pump with the elvie until empty and put the milk straight in breastmilk bags. Also if you just outright stop nursing and pumping you might get engorged and get a clogged duct. Everyone’s different so it’s not set in stone that this will be what happens. Hope it works out either way!!❤

Sisss If you go to the Atl passport agency you can get your passport faster. I got mines same day I applied. It is appointment based tho .. I recommend getting there as soon as they open .. the line can get crazy long 😭

I know that you said pumping isn't an option, but I would say just pray and consider pumping a few times a day and maybe have a small stash saved up for him while you're away. And I'm not sure what you're supply is like I know mine did personally drop around 6 months, but my pumping schedule was inconsistent. We're still nursing now at 2 years old though and whew girl! It's a blessing but I'm also tired 😂 I wish I would have done more breast feeding via the bottle because there is no weaning in sight for my daughter
I understand everything you are saying about conviction! The same thing happened to me but not in modesty mine came from music!! I used to think I could just listen to anything and I was a huge Beyonce fan! But now I can’t even believe that was me! I was delivered!! And I am now set free! Conviction definitely comes to everyone at different times so some people don’t understand but Jesus please keep me on the right side!!! I just love listening to your points of view! I was a manager at The Ups store and since they are franchise stores only a few of them do passport photos which sucks because you basically have to call around to see which one does them.
When I started really being devoted to my relationship with Christ, my skirts got longer naturally. To reiterate what you said, he does the inner work and you start to show outwardly what is being transformed on the inside.

The point is that if you want to continue breastfeeding you cannot let your production go down since your baby is taking that feed. It means that if you give it a bottle feed you should express milk because on the other hand if you don't what the body understands ok no one is needing this milk so I will stop producing it.
