As many shows as I saw over the years, none compare to the 90’s-00’s with Marc and Rich. Chris is always hittin the note but when those 2 were on, it was on.
A part of this group died when the kicked out Marc Ford. His work on Southern Harmony ranks up there with the legends. Luther is what he is, but he's no Ford.

The Crowes played the best show I've ever seen, and that was in 2009. Tool came in a close second (seen them twice, and APC twice). I'd go to a Crowes concert any day.
Ford has a natural ability that can't be taught, he's one of those guys that just has a feel for rhythm and harmony and does it effortlessly. I guess from what people have said supposedly he had a drug problem which ruined what he had with The Crowes.
wow. As a long time fan I have not seen this Glastonbury footage. I read a really old mag that has Noel slagging them off as Oasis were going to follow them at Glastonbury. He really hated them then!!Their friendship must have blossomed afterwards. The last half of this is transcendental. Really beautiful stuff.

Bollocks! They have numerous songs to get down to, but this ain't one of 'em. It's an intricate and gorgeous song, no doubt, but, not really one 'to get down to'. They have many songs to get down to, but this isn't one of them (imo).
