Yes I do remember the 959 really well I was around 8 years old and my dad flew over to Germany and had the opportunity to drive it on the weissach facility as well as the Autobahn in Germany. My father was national service manager for Porsche Canada throughout the eighties and nineties. All I can tell you is still to this day he says it's the greatest car hes ever been in. very cool. tasteful and doesnt look cluttered. i suggest you add some type of window insulation to the edges of your detolf cabinet to prevent dust from getting in. 5 years with my cabinet and havent had to dust my models off once. also you can add wire clamps ( u shaped with locking nuts on both ends) to the cabinet if you want extra shelving. i added 3 more shelves to each of my detolf cabinets that way and its not bad. any more shelving though and its stars to look cramped. to each their own. great collection

Here in Argentina, with the 356 chasis was made the TERAM PUNTERO and the ZUNDER. This were national cars sponsored by Porsche, a very curious story. Its very difficult here to find Porsche scales but the ones that I mentioned you can find it in 1:43 scales. Its Porsche History too!

I'm sorry to hear that you are getting rid of your collection but I do understand it getting out of hand a few years back I probably had double the amount of cars plus other collectibles it was just becoming too expensive lol. The prices on all the new models are insane 😳 I have been trying to slow down on getting new ones but it's difficult lol.

im totally new to model cars but am interested in purchasing one, particularly a 1/18 endurance race car. there are quite a lot of brands tho, which one do you think is the best? material (diecast/resin) does not matter so much to me, rather I prefer details. autoart, spark, etc...
Hi thanks for your message. When it comes to endurance race cars you can definitely find a huge variety by spark. The only issue is nothing opens on them but the detail is really amazing. What kind of race car were you thinking?
@@baumgartenjordan i'm in love with modern lmp1 cars. in specific order my favorites are: (1) 2017 Toyota ts050 (2) 2016 Porsche 919 (3) 2010 Peugeot 908 (4) 2014 Toyota ts040 though I also like many GTE cars. my favs are (1) 2017 Aston v8 vantage (2) 2018 or 2019 Porsche 911 rsr (3) any corvette c7.r (4) any ferrari 488 (5) bmw m8 i dont like the ford too much lol

Thanks 😊 I found alot of mine from local guys selling them and the rest i found on ebay or other sites online. If you look on ebay for the rsr pink pig you should find it. Type in 1/18 spark porsche rsr 2018 if any are for sale they will pop up.

Again you will have to check on ebay. That brumos rsr is from 2019 so try typing that in when you search. Sometimes you have to keep checking until someone is selling it. They only made 300 so they are rare but keep searching on ebay and you will eventually find it. Its my favorite too. I watched that car race in the imsa series and it is incredible!!

Building my 1:18 Collection also! I've got 5 1:18 F1 Models, 1 WRC, and 1 LeMans 24H. My next one will be the 'Schiesser' Porsche 956K.
That sounds good. If I were to get one Porsche le mans race car I would get a 956 or 917k. Great choice.

Were Rothmans logos on 1982 956 PORSCHE already printed ...under RACING decals that are removable?
Hi I bought the decals and put them on. I am not sure which decals came with this model because I bought it used and it didn't come with any. So I ordered them off ebay.
