Fantastic Athens food tour! I'm amazed by the variety and authenticity of the places you visited. Plaka's local cafes and the Syntagma District's vibrant scene are captivating. Thanks for sharing these gems with us and keep up the great work!
Athens is a definite destination on my list. I really enjoyed the history and the food. The Changing of the Guard is a must. Enjoyed the Greek coffee-full bodied. Great vlog.
Athens is high on our hitlist, hope we make it soon as your videos making us more eager to visit this beautiful and full of ancient historical place. It seems like happening place and food is always highlight of your videos. Thanks for taking us through
I'm always fascinated with gardens and would love to stroll in the expansive Athens National Garden. The Changing of Guards is one attraction that I am keen to watch in person. The food are all mouth-watering like the gelato that looks divine and I bet it is delicious. Hope to visit the Glorious Greece in the near future. Two thumbs up!
The ancient relics of the Temple of Zeus look great, so much history in that one location alone. The national gardens are very nice, so neatly kept, they look great.
The changing of the guard sounds like a nice experience. Great to know it happens on the hour every hour. And that’s good to know if someone wants American food. I usually try to avoid but I know some people want something familiar. But the wine bar! Sign me up!
Great video! You’ve really captured Athens’ beauty, and your work shows it off well! Next time you should visit the beach, it is very close to the city centre!
i cant help but think how convenient the changing of the guard every hour is, gives everyone a chance to see it! breakfast looked good but i think it lacked halloumi and sausage, ok so that makes it a sort of English-Greek breakfast! and perhaps a theme for another 'foodie vlog' could be -tastiest ways to cook and eat your own words' :P
I like your video because you showcase a variety of things different ppl would like, thank you! I’ll be visiting in June and definitely saved some of your restaurant suggestions 😊
The Evzones are a special unit drawn from the 5th Raider Group similar to the US Rangers The uniforms they wear are deeply symbolic The blouse and fustenella have 400 folds 1 for each year Greece was under the Ottoman occupation The unique march and boots which have nails in the soles so when they stamp they wake the bones of thier ancestors and say We are Greek, and We are Free Additionally the fluffy ball on the toe of the boot hides a small knife blade that points upward and is intended to kick an adversary in the groin! Also that unit is responsible for raising the Greek flag at the Acropolis every morning and taking it down at night
It's gritty in a lot of places but you also find gems throughout as well. I don't know how many times I've been walking down a dark dirty street to open up into that neighborhood's square and all of a sudden it's cafes, restaurants and shops. With fountains and a church. A city of many faces
If you have any questions about Athens please leave them here in the comments.
Did you travel by metro or purchase the Athena transit card?
I have fallen in love with Athens. Talk about an amazing city and the food is fantastic.
Athens is one of my favorite cities in Europe. I've been to all the places you visited; you've refreshed my memory and made me want to go back.
You've been to Lyra and Aioli?!
Great area to walk, I agree! That icecream looked really delicious! 😋😋😋
Very good gelato!

It's my favorite neighborhood by far

The food in Greece is hard to beat. You'll see in upcoming videos that it just gets better.

That ice-cream gave me Cravings 😅 also love those guards! The uniform looks super unique 👌
They look comfy during cold months but hot as hell during the summer 😂
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon yeah, I can see that 😬😅
What a city and the added bonus is food there. I must say your presentation has been better so much now. Really enjoyed the tour.
I work on it in every video. Glad you enjoyed it.

Do it, it's so worth it

Love the changing of the guard. Pretty areas. Should end your video with more lights of the season. 😊
There will be more to come.

Athens is a cornucopia of historical treasures
This video is special to me because I've been to Athens and I lived in crete. And of course Greece food is amazing 😍
You lived in Crete?! I'm jealous. I'm not able to make it out there this trip.
I love a good food tour! Looks like you hit some great spots.
I absolutely did

They actually do a changing of the guard I believe every Sunday at 11am that is even bigger. Like a full parade.
The food looks amazing and definitely wouldn’t mind trying out the coffee either, will have to put Greece on my bucket list
It's so worth the trip just on the food alone.
In the late 80s we called it zapio park guards in winter uniforms
Great video! You’ve really captured Athens’ beauty, and your work shows it off well! Next time you should visit the beach, it is very close to the city centre!
I will indeed

You definitely brought more exposition than I ever could. Thank you for sharing. I just learned a lot.
Its not easy to lost because you have many exit
Problem with Athens is that it has a couple of amazing neighborhoods like Plaka, but the rest of the city is ugly as fuck
It's gritty in a lot of places but you also find gems throughout as well. I don't know how many times I've been walking down a dark dirty street to open up into that neighborhood's square and all of a sudden it's cafes, restaurants and shops. With fountains and a church. A city of many faces
Don't know where you come from and I don't care but whole of GREECE IS AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL even the gritty areas
