Sonic 2 Megadrive , Sonic 2 Gamegear and Sonic 2 Mega Drive/Genesis all showed up in 1992 ! so i guess the Confusion sets in when you look at the Sonic 2 Megadrive , Sonic 2 Gamegear versions they look older but in fact they all came out at the same time as the Sonic 2 Mega Drive/Genesis Versions and i guess also the confusion is also what Console you bought first ! that would be your first view of Tails ! like i thought the Sonic 2 Megadrive came first ? coz that was the first Console i owned and the Graphics looked older compared to the Sonic 2 Mega Drive i got later ! but suprise ! all Sonic 2 games came out in 1992 ! therefore all of the sonic 2 games were Tails offical appearance . :)
