I don’t understand why would they neglect John Marston and his appearance in single player but in online mode they give his outfit accurate things like the vest being open and whatnot.
There were likely difficulties in development. Rockstar may have gave us a masterpiece, but even masterpieces aren’t perfect. You can say things like “there’s no excuse” or “they’re a multi-million dollar company”, but I don’t think that changes the fact that the main issue with the epilogue is John’s model & hair, issues that actually are inexcusable for a company like rockstar, for a game as good as this. Opened vests might be too hard to code or implement. Closed costs might also be too hard to code or implement outside of certain models, and it could require a lot more work than you think. I honestly think it’s very sad, but there’s likely a reason why it’s this way. People on console can want, but the only other thing to do is simply hope the next game will be even better.
Idk why, but I feel like having the online character, body type would look better on John Marston, since in RDR1 it doesnt really seem like he had super wide shoulders like Arthur, but just as much muscle. Maybe the average body type from RDO?

The muscles of the horses, the hair of the characters, the beatiful illumination, detailed environment, and the list goes on. If you're comparing RDrevolver with RDR1 in terms od cartoonish, then you probably haven't played one of them.

Everything about this mod are beyond amazing but the things that bothers me are the clipping of his 1899 vest its clips alot through jackets, he's satchel also it's clipping through jackets and the forehead when you were wearing the og cowboy hat its kinda glitchy But even with these clipping glitchy things I can still easily say that this is 1000000000x better than Jahrthur Marsgan on the epilogue

I like how John has his own animations at some point but this mods literally fixes Arthur Marston to John Marston and upgrades those animations into the real RDR1 Animations!
I don't know why they didn't let us have all of Johns clothes from the previous chapters his wedding suit the leather vest his grey coat it's not hard to add them into the game but rockstar just won't bother

In modders we trust, Maybe they are the only ones who can delivers us the Red dead redemption that fans deserve, because rockstar didnt listen no more, they became a greedy company
No, they’re just done with the story mode of the game. It’s not greedy at all, they simply have to think of their company as well. I think they should have fixed a lot of issues, but acting as if the Red Dead Redemption 2 is somehow not up to your expectations because of a handful of issues, and a whole lot of minor and sometimes even outright worthless complaints, then I really think you need to reevaluate your way of thinking. Perhaps replay the game a time or two, explore the world, do some of the side missions, try to find random encounters.

The only changes I support that rockstar made about john are not carrying the lasso in the satchel, the weapon wheel and having access to every weapon, the placement of his knife, and the belt above the gun belt.

The video could be called: turning RDR2 into an extended RDR1🙃 I don't know about you, but JMRP with animations and 1.00 Fitment is enough for me. It's certainly certainly interesting that there are mods that make it even bigger from RDR1 including the environment, but for me this is probably an overkill. Still, there is such a thing as a retcon.

If Rockstar sticks with the theme of Arthur/John I'd love to see Arthur's father's story. As Arthur said "He lived alot longer than was good for any of us". Perhaps the Redemption is something Arthur never realized that his father did for him and his mother and possibly set Dutch into motion. Just daydreaming sorry

I have questions. Do you guys think that Rockstar chose to change Arthur's body in order to make it easier for them to have the hair/facial hair and weight system work? I don't have a PC to try the restoration mod for John Marston but I'm just assuming that the weight system and the hair/facial systems are not programmed to work for John's original body. So maybe that's why they changed his original stuble + hair and body structure.
The thing is I'm playing in 1.0 and John's body apart from the head is npc, his stubble is also npc, the issue is hair and ear placement, other than that they made a beard system for him
I feared when rdr 2 was announced I would still like RDR 1 better. I usually always prefer the older games in rockstars series. I was so happy to not feel that way with rdr 2 until I completed the game. Not only do they make me like rdr 1 better. But ruined a memory and what should have been a continuation of John marston.

For John, I'd just get the JMAO and JMRP. All those scars and aging on pretty boah john from chapter 3, 4 and 6 just looks weird. It doesn't need to be THAT accurate.
@@insertnamehere658 No you're thinking of the classic face mod which only works in the epilogue btw, Classic stubble mod gives John more accurate stubble to RDR1 in th epilogue and in the main story chapters his stubble has been changed as well so it matches up the whole game, he isn't aged and his scars have different stages throughout the chapters just like in vanilla, oh and his stubble also has the goatee pattern for chapter 1 and 2 like vanilla.
Rockstar literally could use the JMRP mod and perfect it more and make it base game but if course if there's no money in it they won't do it. hell just add a director's cut version with all the cut content we could've got without it breaking established gameplay or lore.
Idk how i feel about the weapon wheel, but everything else is objectively an upgrade. Im literally looking into getting a gaming laptop so i can mod rdr2 and play it on the go.
@@benkenobi3364 nah, in rdr1 it's indeed awkward and so stiff just like the other animation, meanwhile the rdr2 version actually less stiff and less awkward but still awkward enough compared to the original RDR2 version.
I like it and don't like it at the same time I like it because it makes John even more different to Arthur because in the base game, he doesn't even look on where he's aiming at so it looks weird to me I don't like ot because like you said the stance is kinda awkward But at the end I think I prefer the moded one rather than the downgraded Arthur aim
I think that John's animations a clothes we're definitely neccesary changes but the weapon wheel is just dumb. Rockstar definitely has made alot of mistakes when it comes to John and the clothes in the game but I definitely support gettinf rid of the Classic weapon wheel amd having every weapon on you at all times, it just shatters my imersion.

Don't forget about Armadillo restauration, the mod that brings back life to that city and removes everything about Colera

John never had really long and greasy hair. In RDR1 it was collar length.

It is awkward in rdr2 but in rdr1 it looks decent.
@@benkenobi3364 nah, in rdr1 it's indeed awkward and so stiff just like the other animation, meanwhile the rdr2 version actually less stiff and less awkward but still awkward enough compared to the original RDR2 version.

I like it because it makes John even more different to Arthur because in the base game, he doesn't even look on where he's aiming at so it looks weird to me

But at the end I think I prefer the moded one rather than the downgraded Arthur aim
I think that John's animations a clothes we're definitely neccesary changes but the weapon wheel is just dumb. Rockstar definitely has made alot of mistakes when it comes to John and the clothes in the game but I definitely support gettinf rid of the Classic weapon wheel amd having every weapon on you at all times, it just shatters my imersion.

How do i get LML to work? when im in the menu it says "Please select a valid game folder" i cant seem to open "home" and i dont get the welcome message??? HELP
