Jeremy got me into the community with his recommendation of dylan blue and I loved him so much 3-4 years ago, now I don't ever watch him... he has changed so much it's insane
Thats the exact same story as mine
Dylan blue smells ok but my wife says it has an eggy smell to it. And now I can really distinguish that smell now… almost all blue fragrances leave that smell on. My skin.
Money will do that. Better to go after the young go getters
@@caoslikewhoa it is calone/cascalone... some aquatic fragrances have it.. i could smell that a bit on dylan blue.. Y EDP has it.. light blue.. and others.. just mentioning few that people like and I dont because of that.. btw i dont smell egg.. but jsut something does not feel right and not smelling good as it should be for me
Yeah it's strange. I feel like he used to have the respect of grown men who wanted to up their style and scent game. Now it's like he's trying to impress 12 year olds on tik tok by dancing and being wierd. Like technically he has a bigger following now, but has probably lost all the respect of his adult audience. Shame cause I liked him a lot also.
Honestly I bought a lot of my fragrances because of you and I don't regret it
Honestly, just wish Jeremy the best in terms of his health.
same. it’s genuinely concerning to see the state he’s in but his comments sections are full of people being nasty about how he looks rather than having any compassion. that definitely doesn’t help. hopefully whatever he is dealing with turns around for the better soon.
I was so confused by how much he changed for the longest time. I still think he's having a breakdown.
Jeremy was definitely one of the ones i got into early on, but the first reviewer that really got me interested was Ash from Gents Scents. Still watch his videos daily
Same
Agree..basically the polar opposite of Jeremy
Ash from Gent Scents 👍
The same here
Jeremy got me to buy both Acqua di Gio Profumo and La Nuit de L’homme, Demi got me hooked on Parfums de Marly as a whole and both Ash and Dallas amped up my knowledge with their daily content and Darion basically has the same taste in fragrances as myself.
I totally agree with what you say about Jeremy. He definitely got me into the fragrance community back in 2020. My first purchase was D&G LB Intense and it was 200ml for £55. Now I've accumulated over 30 bottles of various designers and become a bit obsessed with new releases. Not sure how it happened exactly. I think Jeremy must have cast a spell on me through my tablet 😆
Thanks to Jeremy I bought Blue de Chanel EDP. Quiet good fragrance, it smells fresh, expensive, smooth. Zero regrets 👌
I also started my whole fragrance lifestyle back in 2016 wham I was looking up reviews for my next cologne because I ran out of my bottle of John Varvatos. I was a 1 bottle til I run out kinda guy, and never had more than 3 bottles at a time. Fast forward to today, and over 100 bottles of niche and designer, I still reach for the bottles you mentioned in this video, with Spicebomb Extreme still in my top 3, and 120ml Creed Aventus 2012 batch in the old flask bottle as my holy grail. Looking forward to getting a Mr. Fragrant bottle!
Jeremy got me in the community, too. My first blind-buy was Abercrombie and Fitch First Instinct EdT. A nice unique summer scent but with low longevity.
I've noticed Jeremy's recent videos lack his older bursts of energy but are still interesting. I bought Bentley For Men Intense, Mont Blanc Legend Spirit and Encre Noir from his recommendation and love them all. And I thank you every time I wear Hafez 1984, one of my all-time favorites!
Versace Eros Edp one of my favorite ❤️ it’s so fresh for going out. Thank you Jeremy
Got blue electrique because of you and it didn’t disappoint
Jeremy introduced me to a fragrance industry, gave me some very very first impressions. But the channel got very spoiled. This is my opinion. Now I get incomparably more experience thanks to you. Your chanel is very nice light and substantial in the same time. You are definitely one of the bests Omar, and you have blown Jeremy out of the water regarding themes of perfume and perfumery by itself.
Very nice content and Jeremy's choice was good as well.
Started my fragrance journey in the 2000s' but took a very long break... But It was Antonio RMRS YT channel that led me to Jeremy's channel and my first re-boot or repurchase was Chanel's Egoiste Platinum... Then got: bleu de chanel EDP and Parfum, versace pour homme + dylan blue, armani code absolu, Spicebomb Extreme, etc...
Bvlgari Aqva Amara. First designer fragrance I purchased when I started working, and a blind buy also. Not a single regret and I still cherish what’s left in my bottle right now. Sad it got discontinued.
On line here in australia
i bought Chanel Egoiste because of Jeremy. i didn't really like it at first, but now i love it. actually i'm wearing it today
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
Well, my first ever designer fragrances that I bought was Versace Eros EDP and Curly Fragrance released a video of the EDT v EDP and she was the one that got me into this fragrance collection.
I got my introduction to fragrance from Gents Scents. His videos then introduced me to Cuba Knows and you. I have since gone in to purchase more fragrances than I know what to do with
Bought ADG profumo, Dior Suavage EDT and BDC EDP because of Mr J, the best one out of these has been the Profumo, great performance and better projection.
if you ever come around to make another layering video please try eros flame and strknger with you only, it reminds me alot of ultramale on my skin
Prada L'Homme, Monteblanc Individuel, Ble De Chanel EDT version, Ferragamo F-Black, CK-One Shock, I bought because of Jeremy. That's half my collection.
Ones I remember buying because of Jeremy’s recommendations. It’s an expensive past time.
Chanel allure Homme sport eau extreme
JPG popeye
ADG Profumo
Dylan blue
Versace pour Homme
Eros
24 gold
ysl la nuit de lhomme
Jpg ultra male
Bleu de Chanel
Prada Luna Rossa carbon
I bought so many of the fragrances you mentioned because of Jeremy, he's the influencer who got me going down this fragrance rabbit 🐇 hole 🕳️ in the first place. Sadly is he's not the same person, his content is sub par and seems like he no longer has the passion and is merely going through the motion to rack up views and appease his sponsors. Keep up the great job you're doing Omar I find your content to be very refreshing and informative.🇯🇲
His old school videos are still hitting.
Ur absolute Right What u Said about Jeremy - 2 to 3 years back he Had a very good clothing Style and Good Videos. Now he only has this white suite - totally over worn. And his Videos Are sometimes rly Hard to watch.
Thats why i like Ur Videos: top discription and also very likeable. Keep up the Good Job! Greetings from Austria ☺️
Fragrances that I'm buying because of you Omar (School of Scent) : 1. CH 212 VIP, 2. Armani COde Profumo 3. Mancera Kumkat Wood 4.Acqua di Parma OUD EDP 5.Alexandria Fragrances Hafez 1984/ 1981X + 6 others from this house just because I love those 2. 6.YSL Y EDP 7.D&G Light blue eau intense. Thank you! (:
Hi Omar...you really know your stuff...impressive...there's just so many choices out there, compiled with all the reformations of the classics...it's frustrating deciding on a signature scent...enjoy listening to you...
Keep up the good work!
My first fragrance bought due to Jeremy was Versace Pour Homme 💯
Honestly what got me into fragrances was discovering discounters lol! But what kept me to stay and get obsessed with the community was CurlyScents, Omar, and Ash from gentscents! Between those three creators I just fell in love!
JF random RUclips algorithm got me started. But SoS is so good for recommdattions except for prada LHI which is the ultimate office frag for me
dracdoc is one of the original reviewers on this platform, I remember him being the main reason for me buying Allure Homme Edition Blanche when it was still an EdT. When you look at his 10-12 year old videos you will see not much has changed in the mainstream, everything he recommended back then can still be found in today's top 10-lists. Oh and he already recommended brands like By Kilian and Tauer Perfumes ten years ago.
Anybody know where to get bleu electrique? Came and went in the span of 3 months it felt like
I bought ultra male mistakingly thinking it was le male parfum. It's too sweet for me to wear regularly, however, I find it perfect to spray on my bedsheets and bathroom.
Have you tried any of the Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir lines yet? I think it's very underrated
I think Jeremy is one of those you tubers that most people will recognize...fragrance lovers or not. I totally agree with your assessment of La nuit; I have worn the original YSL L'Homme since 2012, and the modern formulation of la nuit is just as weak as the original, so I have really had not interest in picking one up. Le parfum and blue electrique on the other hand have me interested.
I'm into fragances recently and I found my personal one because of him. He described it as "dark, evil, difficult", That rang my bell better than "woody", "vetiver" o "cypress". It's Encre Noire, but I didn't blind buy, got a decant first. Later I bought blind Encre Noire a L'Extreme because you said it's better but I like it less. Not that I dislike it, but I prefer the original.
I like Jeremy's videos because they're short and to the point, and he's a funny and authentic guy.
I blind bought Encre Noire for the same reasons. Weirdly, I get forest, fresh, clean Cypress. Never detected the "death" and dark narrative everyone seems to proliferate.
Thanks mate.👍. By the way Hawas was launched 2015.
I got JPG Ultramale & YSL LNTL because of him and they'll stay. 🙂
PS: The old Ultramale was almost too strong, for I choked people out, outside on the streets, with only 1 spray. 🙊 So no need to worry too much about weaker formulations.
Ive been just getting into the fragrance hobby. Usta just wear 2 year round now i have 10 and realized not buy into they hype of other people. I bought and love dylan blue but with the hype it had i thought it was gonna some crazy fragrance. I do love it but the hype it had i thought it was going to blow me away lol
I'm not sure about the older spice bomb extreme but I have a 2021 bottle of it and it's still pretty good. One day plus on my t shirt and the projection is not room filling but I can definitely Say it still projects really really well. Love the scent profile.
how many sprays do you typically do?
@@kadeemharper1 3 sprays usually
I bought one 2 weeks ago. Smell is 10/10 but longevity is just ridiculous. 5 sprays and after 3-4 hours it is gone. On the t-shirt maybe few hours more. It's definitely not an extreme bomb anymore :(
@@wojtekszuba6952 have to agree. I’m guessing it was reformulated, maybe the infared has more projection.
@@jailenc6674 I have infrared. Smooth but long lasting on my skin. Night out frag to me.
I actually prefer the reformulated version of la nuit. I mean, yeah sure it's weaker (6 to 7 hours is still good tho), but the newer version smells more modern in my opinion. Both smell really gorgeous, but I like the more synthetic and clean vibe which la nuit has nowadays
Hey Omar check out Givenchy Gentlemen EDT Intense if you want a Dior Homme Eau fragrance.
I bought thameen carved oud because of you. Don't regret it 😉
If I remember right it was one of your TikToks back in 2020 that got me into the fragrance community.
Great to hear! 😁 Lockdown was wild 😂
nice but with Jeremy it is always the question of what he has sniffed because one time he advises Bleu de Chanel edt and other times edp, applies to more perfumes
Because of you I’m testing Toy Boy, L’homme intense, LNdH Electrique, Mont Blanc Individuel, Xerjoff 40 knots & Uden, Mancera Black Gold and probably more which I don’t recall currently. I bought blindly Eros, Ultra Male and Prada L’homme, because of Jeremy. From all the three I only used Prada for the office. The other two are just staying dusty and will be giving them to someone 😅
Give them to me sir 😂 thanks
How is toy boy?
He definitely got me into the fragrance scene.. Smash your heads right now! Lol Love that line....God bless Mr. Fragrant and Jeremy!
I bought blue de Chanel cause of him i got a denttt on that bottle. But as you explore fragrances and youre nose becomes more advanced your taste changes.
3:40 alternatives for Hawas? I don't find it anywhere :(
Montblanc Legend Spirit is in a similar ‘vibe’
One of your vids got me into fragrances. Both love the hobby, and hate it because of the money it consumes 😂
I got Burberry touch because of you Omar 👍
What are your thoughts on it mate ? Occasion? Season? Longevity?
@@alexbrooks5838 I think it's a nice fragrance. Quite versatile and office safe. Nothing mind blowing. If you can find it for a good price like I did, I'd recommend it.
Great review man. Jeremy got me into the fragrance world. Some fragrances I bought because of him are:
1. John Varvatos Artisan Pure
2. Versace Dylan Blue
3. Versace Eros
4. Versace Pour Homme
5. Versace Man Eau Fraiche
6. Bvlgari Aqva Amara
7. Prada L'homme
8. YSL La Nuit de L'homme
9. YSL Y EDP
10. JPG Ultra Male
11. Acqua Di Gio Profumo
12. Bleu de Chanel
13. Dior Sauvage
14. Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme
15. D&G The One EDP
16. D&G Light Blue Eau Intense
17. V&R Spicebomb Extreme
18. Armani Code Absolu
If you had to keep 3, which ones would you keep? Also, I'm thinking of getting Allure next. Is it good, as they say?
@@amaniabdallah9572 @Amani Abdallah That's a tough one man but if I were to pick 3 from this list I would go with Prada L'homme, Versace Dylan Blue and V&R Spicebomb Extreme... Chanel AHSEE smells amazing in the air and leaves a beautiful scent trail.
biggest let down for a fragrance? something you were expecting to be way more. mine is allure homme sport EE, just kinda bland
Some fragrances Jeremey recommend that I don’t like:
1) Joop
2) Elixir
3) Club de nuit intense
4) D&G light blue intense
5)Bleu de Chanel
I brought damn near all
Of those because of him.
I bought ADG profumo because of Jeremy.
I buy aqua de gio prapumo
Well Jeremy is an icon ❤ even I started watching more and more reviews of fragrances coz of him….I bought quite few blind buy such as sauvage, Bentley intense,Hawas, versace eros Red and blue
Jeremy once said in one of his videos that he thinks Prada L´Homme is better fragrance than Dior Homme Eau..
😮
aqua amara and La nuit L homme
i got .gb the one
lanuit
ultramale
savAge
king of club eros 😆
Hello I would like to khow more about the chanel antaeus is it good?
Thank You
Yes, try it first if you can
Ok i’m waiting for it in the mail.I’ll order it like two days.an I saw it in your channel.
He pulled ysl la nuit de lhomme from a ferrari..legend
I hope Jeremy can be guided to the right path.
Chanel allure smells like lemon mint tea
Jeremy also got me into fragrance and i love his old videos i was really hooked on watching them. Very intertaining and great quality and fun girls around and just a overall good vibes now a days he seems uninspiring and just very predictable and borring
You and @gentsscents are my go channels for fragrance reviews & info.
Same
I bought more of your recommendations and also from Ash on Gents Scents. I was never fond of Jeremy. He was difficult to take seriously.
I literally just bought Rasasi Hawas right now because of your videos! Full circle moment 😂 Keep up the great work!
Yep. Me too. Bubblegum syntetic scent but long lasting. Not very middle eastern to my nose.
Please recommend me a true dark chocolate perfume....which really smells like a dark sweet chocolate
Try Kilian Black Phantom in store or via a sample
Why haven't you made a video of ALL THE FRAGRANCES you bought during lock down? I looked and didn't see it
I think Jeremy right now is a little bit boring and tell the same stuff.
But Gents Scents is more likely for me 🙂🔥
And you are very good also 💯
Can you have a dermatologist explain how to make frags last longer? And someone to tell us how to get perfume stains out of white collared shirts?
A dermatologist will tell you one simple thing: You can't
@@DuSeun lol. wait … so you mean all that talk about (insert product [here]) will not work? What about -- scientific sounding explanation?
Honestly, I was hoping there are thing that legit boost performance.
Yeah School of Scent actually tried the lotion thing in of his videos and the difference is negligible or probably placebo, which is my own experience as well. If you want to make your fragrance last longer, respray
I had never imagined there was a community of fragrance people or RUclips videos. One day 5 years ago I decided to search "Popular colognes" and Jeremy was the first video to pop up. I remember exactly where I was when I started listening to his videos. I was very into all his videos. $5000 later I could probably start my own channel if I wanted. But I got rid of all my designers that Jeremy would recommend. And I can't stand Creed Aventus. Niche frags are amazing, and I will never pay for another designer frag again. Unless it's from Replica.
Do you by any chance own maison margiela jazz club? If you do I would like your opinion especially on the performance
@@outkast_xiii670 I recently got a decant of Jazz Club and I must tell you, it made me wanna have sex with myself, it's THAT good. Not just pleasant to the nose but enticing in a way that'll attract all sorts of people towards you
From the OG Jeremy videos, I purchased AHEE, don't know what happened to my original bottle from 2016ish but it was beast mode. Picked it up again, now an EDP instead of an EDT concentree and the performance is tamed down. Also on topic of the video, I always wore Dior Homme Eau as a signature, when it was discontinued (extremely disappointing) I started buying Prada L'homme and eventually the L'Eau. Went through gallons of L'homme but these days, I've replaced it with Givenchy Gentlemen Eau Boisee. Smells like a mix of Dior Homme Eau and The One to me, it's really nice but still somewhat safe.
Ever owned any montage fragrances?
Montale? Yes
@@SchoolofScent thoughts on them?
@@jackn7013 creative, interesting releases but usually too synthetic for my liking, from what I’ve tried at least
@@jackn7013 Montale and Mancera both definitely need to be tested when buying them. And from personal experience there's going to be a lot of misses before you find a potential buy.
Anyone bought Ultra Male recent batches and has weak performance ?
I don’t know how recent you’re talking but I have a 2021 batch and the performance is great on it
@@garatox52 recent batches 2020 upwards.
Weird mine stops projecting after like and hour and a half. On clothes it stays forever though.
@@EeBee97 No bro, It doesn't make sense.
I keep smelling other fragrances after hours but not ultra male, noseblind is just an excuse.
People doesn't smell it on me either , maybe 3/10 strength after an hour and a half.
Tried it on a friend as well and same results. Fragrance is original not a fake.
Bought (original) bottle a week ago. Nice scent, but very weak. Last only 1 hour. After 1 hour only skin scent. It's a shame.
JPG le parfum I own also since 1 year. It's a beast compared with ultramale.
Bdc edt
When you releasing the next fragrance my friend
Likely mid 2023!
@@SchoolofScent I am excited can't wait!
I got a decant of Cashee because of Monica C. (It's okay)
I got a decant of Ultra Male because of Jeremy (way too sweet)
I got Hawas cause of A. Joy and J. Victor (like it)
Never smelled CH prive (DC)
I got a decant of VR Spicebomb extreme cause of Gentscent. (I never wear it except holidays like Christmas. I prefer OG cause of the fragrance room)
Never smelled A. Amara (not for me)
I got Prada l'homme sample because every youtuber ever (clean, just ok)
I got Pure Malt cause of every youtuber ( I love it! Best on list)
I got D&G Light Blue Eau Intense cause of Jeremy Fragrance (I hate hate this frag. Reason I learned Never to blind buy. Got rid of it)
I got YSL LN L'Homme sample because of Jeremy. (It's okay.. got Bleu Electrique again, okay)
I got MB Individual because of Jeremy, (good intro to scent)
I got Nautica Voyage because of every single reviewer (I hate that cucumber note so very much)
I alos hate notoca vouyage smells like rotten vegetables worst ... by the way i like red tobacco mancera shuhrah rasasi aqa di gio profondo hawas rasasi hacivet nishane oud shaghaf swiss arabian and my burburry abd white must by j.
Feels like Jeremy has been reformulated
Because of his age perhaps🥴
Back in the days around 2018/2019 before he brought out his own fragrance he was driven by his passion for Fragrances … since he got a lot of success (Also money wise) with his own parfume and increasing popularity he began in my eyes to change his motivation to pure success … now he is only driven by his own success and popularity … not his intusiasm for Fragrances anymore wich is sad
Very true
*I don’t have 100k subs as School of Scent, HOWEVER, I do make honest, thorough, and well put together reviews. I just knocked out my winter list for 2022 if anyone in the fragrance community cares to find a new up and coming reviewer. Would love the opportunity to earn a new sub or two.*
Happy holidays everyone - hope everyone is smelling great and doing well! 🔥🔥
Make a video on different profession especially pilot 👨✈️️
Chanel Allure Homme Sport 👨✈️
jeremy got me into fragrances when i was in high school and I wish he can find a point where he can settle down and not have to do these ridiculous repetitive videos every day to make sure he can keep going and just be happy, he hasn't had the same energy for years
You sound under the weather. Hope you’re well, my friend
This makes me feel old. I started my journey with Robes08,Dracdoc and other OGs that are not around anymore.Back then Jeremy was in the boy band shaking his ass and didn’t know shit about fragrances 😂
“I’m not dead yet!”- Jeremy Fragrance
right! at times the impression was that he'd died of an overdose!
5:17 Prada is definitely a safe blind buy
I'm sure some of us are now blaming bro jeremy for our failed blind-buy attempts:D thanks god I waited until I could try bentley intense...........
Actually I am a fan of Antonio so I saw many of his vids before I heard about Jeremy and the related controversy.
It really seems he has a drug problem potentially related to burnout. Having only seen a handful of videos, he does not seem to care about the reviews and does the same recommendations over and over.
Because of this channel and Antonio, I picked up PDM and tracked down a Bleu electrique amongst other older ones.
I started collecting properly and following RUclipsrs nearly two years ago. I followed quite a few reviewers before Jeremy. At least 10-15 others I'd say. I think I'd heard him mentioned by a couple of the other reviewers but never really paid him much attention. I then followed him but never bought a single thing on his recommendation. I quickly learned he had a lot of self interest and a lot of the fragrances he was pushing were for his own gain. I only really stuck around because I found it intriguing how he had started becoming more and more eccentric and losing the plot tbh. He seems to have chilled a bit now, but he's still very egotistical.
There is no way you didn't try Aventus at least partly because of Jeremy ;)
Hawas definitely isn’t a clone when it came out before IA2016.
I have both eau intense’s and always reach for the female bottle when it’s time to pick, unisex to my nose. Jeremy was great, but has veered away from the content I like to consume nowadays.
I cringe when I hear that Jeremy was the first as if the greats before him didn't exist. The first really serious landmark perfume reviewer was Luca Turin, a biophysicist, with his initial Parfum : Le Guide from 1992. Mr. Turin was such a class act (still is) that he sent me the pdf when I told him I couldn't buy the guide. It's in french but it was his precursor to the New York Times Bestseller of 2008, this time in English. As for compliments, I've worn perfume for over 40 years each day of my life and I can remember getting two compliments in my life... Estée Lauder Azurée and Chanel La Pausa. I feel so sad about the state of perfume criticism today.
Blind bought F black. Don't like it tho. Lol
Halloween Man Shot is better then CH Prive… Prive is weak weak now.
Give me Prada L’Homme Intense anyday over OG L’Homme
