Just out of curiosity, how tapped in would you say you are with the current underground? I was surprised when you said you hadn’t heard about it because I don’t even listen to him and I’d seen it a few places, but come to think of it, you don’t really review much other stuff in this vein so it makes sense
I'd say I'm pretty tapped in but I'm not very online, so I know where to look for stuff when I'm interested in what's new/fresh, but I'm not regularly in any circles where I see discussion about this type of stuff
I wonder what your thoughts on shed theory are, I would recommend freedom by Ricky chix & laker, lurch theory, just tired 2 by Joeyy, S3X¥ by Henry masto as well as NuHits the Evolution Mixtape.. by Tek Lintowe. They aren't the best out there but they are definitely some of the more experimental and out there artist in the underground.
the less than what is supposed to be more marlon dubois album is one of my favorite rap releases of the past few years it's so mellow and comforting despite it having the standard lethargic and kinda dark shed sound

Never thought you’d react to a phreshboyswag project. I love the jerk-style snares in a lot of the production in this scene it’s really refreshing
