Good explanation First time iam going to fallow this method Let me know the results thank u Happy gardening Wish u a happy new year God bless you and your family
I have done this successfully with Roselle hibiscus with no rooting hormone. I just leave it in the jar with bright indirect light with high humidity and I don’t change the water.
@@muskanjamal5360 Mine took about 2 weeks or so. I change out the water and wash the vessel every 3-4 days. I will keep them in there even longer if needed as long as the plant doesn’t rot all the way. I cut off anything that rots as it will change the water chemistry. Good luck!
Will this still work if the leaves are dead but the stem is green? If so, any changes need made compared to what you did? I have a ton of stems a friend gave me, but I’m in zone 6a (aka colddddd winters). I wasn’t sure if I should even do anything with them or if it’s too late. I also have tons of seeds from them as well - if stems are too late in year, can I sprinkle seeds in garden and let the snow/wet get them down into the soil naturally??
The roots clearly show evidence of having been in soil. If this video purports to show rooting hibiscus cuttings in water, why do the developed roots have dirt remnants on them? This video seems dishonest.
It works 100%
I propagate successfully!!!
Thks my friend
most welcome
Good video. Tell people WHEN you are doing this - that's very important as part of the rooting process. 👍
April and may will be best time
