You should’ve mentioned in your video that if you disconnect the battery, you have to reset the steering angle circuit, which I now have to go to the dealership and have them take care of that which is gonna cost me money now
HELP>>>>Followed instruction and replaced fuel pump but then starter crank would not happen checked fuses they were OK. Took out battery? Charged it up still not start and crank? Have check tool says no codes.??????????? What could it be? Dash lights come on.
+April Arnold We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
I have changed loads of pumps, if the car is "no start" you can't drain the fuel line and the steps in this vid are for changing a fuel filter not a pump? It is not advised to disconnect the battery on a 300c as they are prone to electrical/comms issues, removing the relay is enough or pay a pro to do the job. I let the pump drain for longer rather than spilling the contents over the tank. Easier to fit seals after the new pump has been connected, risk dropping it into the tank. Not a very good "how to" and very ham fisted.
I got that fixed 2 days ago and I think guy who fixed it couldn't put the metal circles that lock it in correct and smells like gas any ideas 2 why or is it cuz the metal seals didn't lock correct ?

300's have two fuel pumps a Primary and Auxiliary which is your filter. If your vehicle doesn't start, it is due to both pump and filter mechanism needing to be changed.

its a fuel pump issue so the car cant be turned on so how would i run it until it dies
When you take off the fuel pump relay, and you said turn on the car til it dies out, what if your car doesn't start?
Great vid. I read the manual, but this is a lot more helpful. Thanks for posting!!!
If you disconnect the battery why remove the relay too?
Wow! Thank you for sharing this information. I learned what I needed to know. Great working video.😊🎉

Why not mention opening on a full tank is a bad idea.
Why not tell how to know when the retention ring is seated.
Your hands covering everything I haven’t seen nothing
Wouldn’t it just be easier to drain the gasoline from the tank then replace it and then just put the gas back in?
There goes a few miles of gas on the back seat
Great
I came here to see if theses cars have a fuel return
Don’t buy it’s to long and float want work get from store original part number!!
Sounds a bit like Cecil from Invincible
