After many trial and errors and many reinstalls I was finally able to get a basic dayz expansion server running and i want to say THANK YOU!!! I appreciate all the time and effort you put into these videos just to help us!!! I was about to struggle on my own to add slow moving zombies but I noticed you uploaded a tutorial for that too, you're awesome ! :)
This worked flawlessly huge thanks! Quick question, if I have installed the expansion bundle but instead of the expansion buildmod I would like to have BBP instead. Is it possible to retroactively remove mods from the bundle or would I have to reinstall the server and start from the beginning to just install the single packages I want to have?
I can never seem to get any of this right, I failed at trying to install the zomberry admin mod & CF. Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can start to enjoy the game a bit more on my own server :/

i wonder why someone would switch between expansion core and the bundle. you get missions with the bundle, so it seems silly someone would switch to core then need to get missions seperately.
This didn't work for me i don't understand what I did wrong worked fine on my local server but then tried with this video walkthrough and no go can't even find my nitrado server in list now can't I just copy my local dayz server files
Okay, but what if I want to use another map than Cherno? I feel like that part is always left out in videos like this everyone always assumes you're playing Cherno.

My problem is that whenever I edit a .json file under /config in Filezilla it does not execute the changes. The mod is working as it comes out the box but I am unable to further configure its multiple settings to my liking.

Is is possible to make a video on how to add the SNAFU Weapons? I've tried multiple times setting up since there isn't really a tutorial on their page on how to install it. I think I put everything in correctly but I never see the guns show up, whether in the world or in the market. A video would be greatly appreciated!!! Keep making great videos!!!
Can you show us where the files go in nitrado without a local server ? Mods are installed working. Juat need to place mapand traders and items into the mp missions folder . But i didnt understand exactly where. Pleas help? And cant find none of your paywall servers . ?
It's a great mod! Only drawback is, you do have to do a little homework with what other mods you can add with it. Quite a few mods out there do not work well with, if at all with Expansion. Be extra careful with heavily scripted mods too - one or two you could possibly get away with, but more than that and your server prob wont run or it'll have a few issues. It's a lot better now than it used to be.
@@MadSilence I actually always do it the other way around🙂CF:DF;Exp followed by mods of choice + my own mods normally in a serverpack, with the last two always being Admin related 👍
i love all the hard work and the hours you put into your videos, without you my server would not have made it to where it is today, i do have a slight problem with my nitrado pc server when i wanted to try the expansion, it all works fine until i put the actual expansion mods into it, then everytime i try to log into the game to have a look, the server stops and kicks me ?? confusion is haunting me after 4 wipes now i am totally at a loss ?? please oh mod God any ideas??
This happened to me, in the additional mods remove all the mods but leave @CF;@Zomberry admin tool; start the server up then shut it down and add the rest. worked for me
i have installed the mods to the letter in the video but i cannot connect to my server (error code 12004 from Nitrado or error code 0x00010001 from dayz's side) what did i do wrong ? server also keeps crashing when someone tries to join. EDIT: i am a goofy goober and i did the XML's wrong, did a fresh reinstall again too to be safe
Perhaps if you're on PC, try Arma 3 or Reforger, of if you're on Xbox, Reforger. Reforger especially is pretty amazing now, and Arma 3 always has been.

Did a Fresh install on the server added all of these mods (@CF;@Dabs-Framework;@DayZ-Expansion-Bundle;@DayZ-Expansion-Licensed;@DayZ-Expansion-Animations) with the key but can not get the expansion files to generate in config or mission files when I start the server. The server will not show up on the browser with the mods. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it thanks.
Is there anyway to remove that reputation icon on your HUD right hand bottom corner? I've tried everything to get rid of it, it gets in the way of cinematic recording while using the expansion mod. Thanks
You have to turn "Reputation" to 0 (zero) in the Hardline Settings, which is inside your Missions Expansions Settings folder. DayZServer\mpmissions\dayzOffline.chernarusplus\expansion\settings

Great tutorial! im using Nitrado to host a server, but when i installed the keys i noticed that many keys was named "expansion", i didnt know what to do when they asked me to replace the existing file, this was about 6 saying the same... What do i do there? Only 1 market is working and no helis spawn in or vehicles?
After 2 days of non stop trying. about 30 hours into it. my server still crashes. I did everything perfectly. followed what you did and even read the instructions. and it just does not work for me. and im loosing my mind.
It may help to start from a fresh install and be carefull about which mods you are installing, stick closely to the expansion list, and double check if you're not sure.
@ScalespeederGaming i did a fresh install 4 times and followed what you did. Only mods I used was the ones in your video. No other mods. It's nitrado server. It stays up for 2-4 minutes before it shuts down. Or if I try and join, it's shuts off right away.
@@WarMo05e5 i have exactly the same problem, if i remove the @"Mod" from the server it runs perfect but as soon as i put them back bang gone again. would love an answer to this as im two days in now and on my 6th wipe and install 🙌
Dayz mods is a hell of a job for installing mods....almost undone and crazy , thats why i keep only the original version . Its ridiculous what they do to mod your game.............. This shouldt be this way....sorry
I have an issue after following steps it shows me that I have login error? and need to wait I have done this several times to login again but nothing has changed and I keep getting the same error

Make sure to load expansion mods AFTER all other mods! 😊

Par for the DAYZ course. Everything is 100x more complicated than it needs to be.
Most other games let you do this in a menu.

Modders often use the same key across multiple mods, so it's ok to overwrite.

@@grahamjones8675 had the same issue, delete the storage folder like he did in the start again and that fixed my issue, with no reinstall needed
