Classic Warbird Styling in a Gorgeous Foam Model - FMS F-86 80mm

- This is hands down one of the best FMS jets we've ever seen. The attention to detail is unparalleled compared to anything else FMS has produced. High quality components throughout the airframe, beautiful scale details, and it's not heavy either. They made a jet that flies great - albeit very nose heavy - and didn't sacrifice any details that would make it pop and be worth flying.

CORRECTION: The new SMC HP 4400 HV battery is only 28g heavier than the SMC HV 4400. It's certainly not a half-pound heavier. Our mistake!
I'm hoping for an FMS 80mm MiG-21 next!
I used a 5000mah pack all the way fwd and it was still a bit tail heavy but it flew good. It is a very tail heavy bird and thanks for sharing Bro's and your the best!!!👍👍👍👍👍
You mean nose, not tail, right? Thanks!
The air brakes are dope!
Nice jet! the smc prices were lowkey the real winner here . Thats a suspiciously reasonable price and I love it ❤
it's on my bucket list luv the design and paint scheme
Another beautiful video from the two BRO'S RC. Lovely as intended. 💯%
Nice review! I'm one of those few RC pilot's who prefer flying slightly nose heavy so this may be a good Warbird for me
Yeah, you'll probably have a lot of fun with it. We did too, but it definitely isn't a tumbling 3D plane and can't be forced into it. Still isn't worth dinging it for that since it was never designed or intended for that purpose.
Beautiful FMS Sabre, great piloting….loved your greased in landings.
Thanks a lot!
Awesome flying Jon! Dude I can't wait to fly it! Really a great looking model.
Looking forward to seeing what you pull off with it!
Great flight review jon.I have one on my Christmas list. LOL I really like the color scheme. Thanks again for the video
We're pretty happy that FMS sent us the Skyblazers variant since it's a lot more eye catching than the fleet version!
I really hope they do a Mig 15 matching the sabre
Big up on the jungle
DnB and flying go hand in hand. 🧡
@@TwoBrosRC truer words have never been said
Thanks , and great flight. I have FMS viper 90mm imported and I use Lipo 6000mah weighting approximately 700grams. I noticed that to land it safely it needs to be in a speed otherwise it will drop a wing before landing . I am not following the cg recommended of 110mm and I found that moving the battery back makes landing a bit easier but still not a piece of cake . Any suggestions to make the landing easier (I mean to be a bit lower speed without dropping a wing)? Thanks
We've covered how to land the Viper before - try this out: ruclips.net/video/G-8FXntqv84/видео.html
@@TwoBrosRC thank you so much. I ll definitely check it out.
I’m surprised it stalls considering how nose heavy it is
Swept wings can stall easily even with nose heaviness.
That's detailed for an EDF jet. That's one I'd pick up just for the nostalgia feeling. SMC makes the best bar none. You couldn't just add a little weight are is it pointless? Still a beautiful plane and that one has the side air breaks. Good review and a nice flight. The hardest thing would be choosing which one you want.
It's pointless to try to go neutral. The jet will scrape the tail if the CG goes even a few mm behind the main wheels.
Okay thanks that's good to know
Greetings to you Jon. I am waiting (impatiently) for this model to be back in stock. After watching your review, I am inclined to heed your advice on the no gyro thing (normally goes against my grain!). I trust your opinion here and will probably not get a gyro. I don't know if you are at liberty to answer this or not, but I am considering the new Lemon 7 channel for this plane. All of my planes have Spektrum AS3X receivers, and it is getting very expensive. However, I will not risk this beautiful plane on a junky receiver to save a few bucks. Again, I would trust your thoughts here. Thanks again! Dale
Hi Dale!
You can't really go wrong adding a gyro to the F-86. It'll just need higher pitch gains to be useful. Having it active in roll couldn't hurt, but you'll want to start low and bring it up until it snaps into position but doesn't wobble. We'd recommend sticking with Spektrum electronics. They're more expensive, but you don't have to worry much about quality.

Kinda what I figured. Thank you so much for the input@@TwoBrosRC
Dose the retracts fit into a f 86 freewing?
No idea!
How do you like the wobbles?
They're wiggly.
Great plane and video. I am a suscriber with a question:
My son (12y) flies dome small foam planes but want to fly large warbirds like on this video, do you have any advise about a trainer plane that help him develop skills to fly warbirds? apprentice sts is my first option but i do not know there is other more appropriate plane. thanks!!
Tomorrow's video will be a feature on the E-flite Viper 70mm, which is a fantastic jet for learning how to fly bigger airframes. We'll cover what to do, what not to do, and how to improve your skills. Consider joining us on Discord too for specialized questions: bit.ly/TBRCDiscord
@@TwoBrosRCany trainer that is not a jet? thanks!!!
Ask us on Discord, we've got a list of recommendations you can check out.
Is that how it sounds stock??
Yep.
@@TwoBrosRC thanks! That is amazing. I never realized an electric jet could sound like an actual jet!
I looks so easy, but i bet its the 10000 hours type of skill. I looked online just to see the msrp.. i though it would be much more expensive.
It is pretty easy when you're used to flying. It's a skill like anything else - the more you practice, the better you get.
Airplanes do AEROBATICS. Gymnast do acrobatics. 😉
The shorthand of aerobatics is acro, though.
bring j10 c 90mm edf jet
K
"Acrobatics"?
It's aerobatics, but the shorthand of aerobatic flight is acro for some reason. Jon misspoke.
Jon flying nose heavy???? (insert fainting emoji)
Not much ya can do here. 😅
