Hi, Squally! A fabulous video and a great idea to show everything necessary, straight from the start, so folks know what's involved!

Thanks for the video. Very good job.

I miss my CP16. It was old and not nearly as nice as your legacy, but very solid. I had it out in some big wind and it always felt safe.
    Com-Pac makes great boats. 👍🏼#8

It is stable. I have gone out in wind i should have stay home in but i have never felt unsafe in it.

Hey Squally. I am purchasing a Com-Pac Legacy tomorrow, in part thanks to you. This step-by-step video is great. Thank you!
I just wanted to mention that I think you should monetize your channel a bit. If you just added a few Amazon affiliate links to little things like the parachord and snap shackles that you are using you'd probably have a bit of passive income coming in. I would have clicked them and purchased! Because now I'm looking for them myself on Amazon and there are too many options to choose from. Just sayin..

Congratulation on your new Com-Pac Legacy. You will love it. I still love mine. I miss taking her out since the ramps where I am at are still dry from the drought that will not end. I never thought about monetizing the channel. I started making videos because I noticed very little information about the Legacy. I have a lot to learn about the video making progress and RUclips. I will see how monetizing works with amazon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Looks good. I need to learn to step my mast with the shrouds attached. It takes me about an hour to get setup and on water. Longer if I put spinnaker on. Have you considered changing your outhaul lines? We have the same truck canopy side windows. We love them. Why do you use a soft shackle on the jib clew?

I make all my soft shackles. They are strong and sleek. I did hang up the lapper jib tacking a few times with bowlines tied to clew. I spliced my new jib sheets and they just slide on the soft shackle. One connection with no bulky knots seems to be working right now .

@@squallyheiferadventures Bowlines can be heavy. I'll post a video on the knot I use (just for discussion purposes). Whatever works best for you is the right solution. I learned of an other knot that works well (and it can blow-out in heavy wind, used it on a spinnaker sheet as not to lock the sail down (bad idea)).
