New Adventures, buying an old Sailboat!

- Hello and welcome to the channel. In this video I buy a compac 23. I have been sailing since 2020 and have slowly decided to move up. The compac may not be a big boat, but it is much larger than my current sail boat. It needs a little bit of work, but nothing I cant handle. Join me as I bring this old vessel back to life!

Mine looked worse than that down below! Had 4” of rainwater over the floors! Stripped iut the entire interior & restored it 2 perfection! No fibreglass visible anywhere inside! Insulated & strip planked ceilings! U can do it 2! I actually sail this boat more than our C&C 33! Shallow draft is best feature! Thanx 4 the video! 👍😎
Thank you Kenneth, I'm in the process of bringing her back! I just picked up a blue crab 11 to sail in the meantime!

It’s almost anticlimactic when everything goes right 😂. Is that the ocean or a lake?
Thanks! I had planned this little journey for a little while. I wanted a nice calm day because I didn't know the boat or its mannerisms. Got to be extra careful on the water. Normally unplanning is our planning. We started on a river and motored towards the Chesapeake bay, then back into a creek.
