  • My 12th logged dive, the second dive at Manta Point (Moofushi Rock). This time there was much less current, so the Manta Rays were circling the rock more freely - but there were also a large number of other divers, some of them completely oblivious to the corals, standing on the reef or dragging their fins across the corals they were also kneeling on.
But at least there were Manta Rays, and they were constantly in motion, sometimes flying right over our heads. The biggest one of the 4 had a large bite taken out of its right wing, presumably by a shark.
On our way to the Manta Point, we came across an Octopus hiding (very well, unfortunately) under a large rock, and a pair of Hawksbill Sea Turtles, of which i only managed to capture one on camera.
While leaving Manta Point, there was also a second, but much smaller Octopus sitting upright on a rock nearby and interacting with some of the other divers.

Unglaublich, wie von einem anderen Stern - Mangas wie fliegende Teppiche aus 1001 Nacht.❤
