Chris is as real as it gets. I’ve been lucky enough to ride with him and pick his brain. I owned the prior shuttle and this one checks all the boxes on the shortcomings of the old design. A+.
I met chris a few weeks back on the trail,I have the old model and love it.I tried out the new and i have to say it didnt feel like it had more juice than mine?I have my shuttle at Bike Master right now getting some work done on it.I may get on it again and see.
Chris - The new EP8 drive unit has a new output profile that is also customizable via the Shimano steps app, a much welcomed feature not available on the previous model Shuttle. The stock profile has a more gradual power curve when delivering power which may make it seem like it has less torque, when the opposite is true.
I currently have the blue Pivot mach 429 trail and I am interested in upgrading! Are you going to offer it in a different color? Not really a green fan.
I love Pivot, but man the price is just too steep, there’s just a lot other options with the same specs for thousands of dollars less, just hard to justify
@@pivotcyclesusa Commencal, Cube, Giant, Bulls, to name a few, all comparably equip for thousands less, you’re pricing your bike to the point where only the rich people could afford it and I think it’s got to a point where people will lose interest in your bikes
@@alfredcinco The Shuttle, along with several other models we offer, are sold out and backordered. We can't ship bikes fast enough. If people are losing interest, we aren't seeing it.
@@pivotcyclesusa You guys are either in denial or just completely ignoring certain consumers, I know for a fact a number of well known you tubers tagged pivot as High end/expensive option and also know for a fact a bunch of riders in the Bay Area are turning away from pivot and almost all brands are backordered and sold out. wondering where you rate as far as total sales against other brands

The Treeline Green is the only one available at this time. It is likely we will introduce another color down the road, but exactly when is not known.

Compared to equivalently spec'd bikes, the Shuttle price is right on par with what is available from other brands.
