‘I love my good friend:’ Man beaten to death on Father’s Day, stepson taken into custody

- A father was found beaten to death early in the morning on Father’s Day, and his stepson was arrested.
The Houston Police Department responded to a 911 call at an apartment complex off Sherwood Lane in Northwest Houston around 5:45 a.m.
My condolences to the people who actually cared about this poor guy, like the neighbor.
Neighbor cared more about him than the guy he raised

Why does this happen? Who does this to an elderly person? Too much evil in the world today.
This happens because people for the most part have rejected God. They have given themselves over to evil and anyone who continues on that path will eventually find themselves doing evil things that they never thought they were capable of. Repent, receive Yahshua and follow Gods commandments.
This is what happens when people remove God people are being possessed by demons, just watch the pattern like you Kevin and Karen they always on a rampage and they all act the same that's the spirit.
Let out of jail one too many times and also I agree with the above persons comment. One other reason is failure or illegal to excersize his second amendment right. While being attacked we all have the right to defend ourselves with firearms if need be. Rest in peace Sir...

His next door neighbor sounds like he cared about Bill and it’s sad to see him so upset about this horrific tragedy. Bill would have been better off spending Father’s Day next door, rather than his so called “stepson”. Rest in peace, Bill. 🕊️

Right when I saw his face I knew he was on drugs .. his high probably got low that’s when they get violent . Even if they’re your own kids but have already got hooked onto it don’t let them around you my mom sister got beaten by her own kid half to death and she’s 70 years old recovering from breast cancer . Like I said his high went up then it went low that’s when they get violent .. you see people like that all the around bus stops or store parking lots screaming by themselves threatening to kill anyone and always assuming someone’s out to get them .. once you know you know stay away from them even if they’re family make sure they get rehab help first before trying to play the mentor role on them because the only influence they have are their drugs and they’ll choose it over their parents .

Don’t jump to conclusions. Many stepparents treat their stepchildren like trash and abuse them. That could have happened here leading the guy to a life of crime and killed the man for what he did to him. Yes, that’s unlikely what happened and, of course, is no excuse for murder. Just remember, things aren’t always what they seem. A lot of people who are elderly now have been monsters while young. Just because the killer is bad doesn’t mean the killed was an angel. Of course, he may have been an angel refusing to help a criminal with money or a place to stay.
