There are such cute, adorable images in this book. I agree with you about the bird attitude in her books. Some of the pictures are sweet, some are goofy and whimsical and some are downright angry looking, lol...they are hilarious! Tyfs Kori!

I said that in my flip 💜I own both of them. My favorite still is Gnomes though.
I'm really surprised that Denyse Klette isn't more popular! I love her art work! But I understand that the tiny things in some images are hard to color. Overall I think her art work is really cute and her books are thick, so imo she's great!
Yeah I think she's a rather underrated adult coloring book artist and her book quality is great!

I have always loved the birds in her other books, so this was really fun to see.
What a cute book! I had her fairies one but ended up giving it to my daughter because my eyes just weren't good enough to make out all the details. I never got another one by her assuming that was just her style and I'd have the same issues. I'm so glad I watched this video! TFS!

Love her artwork! I don’t like birds at all, but these whimsical birds just make me smile. I preordered this back when you mentioned it was coming out, and I noticed that my preorder date was December 2021! Worth the wait.
It was originally that, but its bumped up. Does yours still say Dec for Amazon US?

I have her other books and had no idea she released this one. Just ordered it after watching your video. I thank you but my bank account not so much...lol
Yeah this one has been in the works for awhile, and I was excited because I just LOVE her birds and their personalities.
I noticed the blurry printing in my copy too. Also the line art is thick (too thick) on some pages and thinner on others? I love the artwork.
Ah so def a printing issue and not just me -- good to know.
What coloring mediums have you found that works well in her book? I’ve tried quite a few and haven’t found a favorite. Looking for suggestions.
Oh! Great question. So, I've used my Prismacolors in hers and loved them. I also used my Amazon Basics and they worked well, so does the Inktense. Hopefully that gives you a starting point :)
@@ColorfullyOptimistic I think I tried the Inktense on a background and couldn’t get a blend. I’ve been dabbling with alcohol markers in one of her books.
I think this is my favourite of Denyse….*sigh* another book to buy 😅
I just love the quirky birds. Gnomes is still my favorite of hers, but this is definitely in second.

Some pages are cute but I can’t decide if I like her art or not.
But It’s single sided so that puts it above others for me. Hmmmm.
