Aw, Mitch…! Don’t melt my heart so early the morning! We’re so pleased you like it. This isn’t really a composition-composition, all of these partimenti were written down in under 20 minutes. It uses a caricature of a fugue structure in order to facilitate the improvisatory elements of the piece. But, you can use the same tricks in concerted compositions and frill them up a bit, make them more interconnected, etc. I teach composition, you know, if you’re ever interested in even just a lesson or two on this kind of thing - I know you have a real knack and love for writing in period style already!
