hey Lana, you might’ve missed a slight but important step in preparation i believe! The use of peach gum originated in china i believe and every source states that after thorough soaking for at least 5-12+ hours depending on the amount, you have to clean the impurities out of the peach gum, the little black spots / other gunk has to be removed by hand after soaking. it could be any kind of debris or insects that get stuck in the resin as peach gum is the resin harvested from peach trees! It is also recommended to stew it so that it breaks down further and is suitable for digestion! Jus wanted to offer some thoughts its easy to miss some stuff when dealing with new supplements, i like to do very thorough research from multiple sources to understand what im dealing with and not spread misinformation!

Thank you so much for introducing Peach Gum as a smoothie - great idea! Could you speak about what channels it harmonises according to TCM or your experience how long it takes to see results?

Hi, the yangming channel which consists of the stomach channel is on the face (among other body areas) and since peach gum targets skin collagen I would say that it supports the yangming. In women this channel decline after age 35 and that translates to sagging of the skin, wrinkling skin and so on. Peach gum is a natural anti-aging food.

Hi, the peach gum I get, I just soak in water to transform it from hard to soft. People do put it in soups, so in that case, it's cooked.

Hello, I would suggest researching the nutritional breakdown of the brand you are looking at and consulting with your medical practitioner in regards to your specific situation.

😅 yeah, don't eat it every day. Maybe once a week. It’s hard to digest and will cause gut issues if consumed too often. Moderation & variety in all things.

Yes, small amounts are okay but larger amounts can lead to constipation especially in individuals that don’t get much exercise. Adjust the amounts according to your own constitution. :)
