- Not a how to video. Simply a video showing what I came up with for a custom paint job for a skateboard blank. This was done in multiple steps. Not all steps are shown. Simply the results of each step.
This was done for a car and truck show on October 8th at Roosterz at Clearwater.
This board will be auctioned off. Funds will benifit a local kids charity.
Roosterz gave out the skateboard deck blanks to local custom painters and airbrush artists and let them come up with their own paint job.

Appreciate that John. Looking at the Roosterz FB page, looks like there's some other nice ones as well.
Also, you had asked how many coats before buffing on another video (which I replied to). As far as the skareboard, I pretty much clearcoated, sanded between layers of graphics. By the time it was done, it was already 'flat' before wetsand and buffing

That board should never see concrete. Hopefully they will hang it up and admire the beauty.
I'm pretty sure that's what the intention is when doing these type boards. The shop putting on the show has at least one hanging in their office. Looks pretty cool.
But you never know.

I’m working on a board and I love the Pegan gold and tangerine. I do have a question.
Why paint the blue on the flames before painting the silver over it. Or is that the original blue of the board. It is not flaked so I got to believe you painted it blue and now your going to paint it silver. Any help would be awesome. Thank you. A BIG FAN
Basically that solid blue becomes the outline color of the tribals (or you can call it the 'edging'. So the outline was done FIRST. You can also apply this to flames, or graphics. A great alternative if you can't hand pinstripe. I believe my video here helps explain this ruclips.net/video/IoisNChexQU/видео.html
