+Tinman 2 Kustoms No problem. I'm building a 47 Chevy truck on my channel. Just got started on posting videos, but getting really close to final assembly. Got a 39 Ford coupe I got for Christmas a few years back that's next. Feel free to check it out. I'm sure I'll be bing watching your builds this next few weeks. Keep Rocking it out!!!
You mention to scuff before topcoating the POR15. I painted my frame with POR15 black (did not top coat )and it went chalky in the sunlight (just like they said it would). Have you had success scuffing and painting over it later? How did you prep? Thanks!
Patrick Christie I have never tried to topcoat after it gets to the chalky stage. I'm sure it's technically recommended to start over. But I'd guess if you can make sure you get off any loose chalky shit and topcoat it that will work fine
Still looking Good👍🤙
I subscribed the other day...and btw..congrats on the Sema thing
Thanks much!
Do you have any videos on chopping tops, I have a 47 Ford 5 window that would look better chopped, awesome work, thanks
I don't have any dedicated chop videos at this point, but hopefully in the future I will. 40's cars are generally a tough chop, so take your time!
Love the Chevy, the basic, no bullshit fabrication and the welding shorts!
Patrick Christie lol thanks! I'm usually rockin shorts, Crocs & socks. You get used to burns after a while haha
Just found your channel, hit the sub button for ya. Bad ass work brother!!!
Rocker Pat oh thanks man! Thanks for following

Tinman 2 Kustoms Thanks. What grit(s) do you normally use before topcoat?
Usually whatever I have sitting around. But 150 grit is probably recommended
I do believe the 265 v-8 came out in 1956..........but I see the point...........small block v-8s all have the same mounting pattern.....
Making it happen..Good on you mate.
