It's kind of sad to know that the Oreca 07 Gibson V8 will be retired since day soon. What a race car that one is. Vroom. Damn near as fast as the LMP1, and faster than the LMH. They've had to throw a smaller restrictor plate on them to slow them down again.
The GT3 and GTE both have the M178 4,0-litre AMG engine, but the GTE has a flat plane crankshaft where 2 pistons share the same rod bearing journal, so its "Boxxer-Style" in a V8. I think the AMG GT BS has the same engine.
Huracan GT3 is just sublime, those shifts!

What’s the difference between the vantage gt3 and gte? They sound very different!
Gt3 is cross plane while Gte is Flat plane

@@rennsemmel5546 nah you were right. V8 can be either cross or flat plane, hence why the GTE sounds like a Ferrari as their V8's are always flatplane.
