What does she say at 1:24:00? "For example T--- M----'s book on world religion..."?

How does that have to do anything with Sedgwick's work or gender or sexuality?

I think I lost the point in all that flowery language and mental gymnastics. Are we still allowed to keep our cultural values in the West and draw what we want? Is there a way to do so and still bridge the cultural gap between East and West? It sounded like she was finding pretty language to excuse overly sensitive people for getting offended at, what we in the West at least, find necessary public discourse. I don't expect Saudi Arabia to feel comfortable with me wearing a bikini in the streets and I would expect that THEY, Muslims, can leave us be to our own customs. They may be vulgar to some but it is a part of our culture. Asking us to change is asking too much. Solution?
