I love this witchy gramma aesthetic soooooo much! Perhaps because I share it :) Always a pleasure to watch the creativity Christine brings into the world, and especially when it comes to bringing this lovely old house back to life.
I love your table settings they are beautiful. In the 80’s I was the manager of the China, Crystal and Silver department in the now forgotten Broadway Department store. It was an upscale store like a Nordstrom’s or Macy’s but snootier than Macy’s. While working there I learned all about setting a fine table and having a good set of China for formal and everyday. Now that I am much older I have a full collection of China in my house. My everyday China is green vintage fire king , I use this for snacks and also the dogs dinner bowls. I have all the refrigerator and stove top accessories as well as mixing bowls and measuring cups etc. my house though nothing as grand as your is a 4 bedroom 4 bath ranch house built in 1976 and I just bought it in northeastern Texas. I’ve been here for a year. My house has all the formal rooms a traditional house should have which I love. In my breakfast room which is a large round room with a wall of windows and a China cabinet of 6 doors across all curved like the room is full of my everyday good China, classic vintage Franciscan pottery Desert Rose, and I have collected service for 12 in it and have every dish they make, the China cabinet looks great with them in it . In my dining room I have a large China cabinet as well and it is full of my fine bone China from Lenox called Castle Garden a lovely creamy bone colored plate with gold rim and delicate floral around the edges. I have my table set for a fancy dinner party as well. I have a large silver chest with 8 drawers which holds my mother and grandmothers silverware which is Rogers brothers first love pattern and a fully stocked bar of Waterford crystal glassware, everything in service for 12. I have purchased all of this one piece at a time through eBay as my patterns are no discontinued. Just like you I started with a charger of chrome and gold, but I have 2 tablecloths on the table a beautiful white linen Irish cloth topped with a vintage light green cut work tablecloth with matching napkins. I bought twelve serving spoons in my silver pattern and sent them to a jewelry crafter on Etsy and they made me 12 napkin rings out of the handles. My fancy table is set with soup bowls and I have every kind of spoon and fork one could use on the sides of my plates. I used little sterling jewel encrusted name card holders with white cards and each place setting has its napkin fan folded and a large hand made light greet gauzy ribbon bow. I love having the table set just like you do. I covet your house, which is sinful, but I love what I have because it is mine. I love watching your videos and your voice is so soothing and tranquil I could just listen to you for hours.
My goodness...you are an amazingly talented young woman. I think the secret to your success is the fact that you are willing to attempt most anything with an unfettered resolve that anything is possible!

Thank you for making content. I am such a big fan and really enjoy the mixing of classical and spooky. I have chronic illness and autoimmune, so you have inspired me with plenty of inside projects and crafting.
One thing I will say in favour of adhering to the "rules" for these types of things is that it means that there is no confusion for your guests over what to use/do, which can happen if you forge your own path, if you will

I love this witchy gramma aesthetic soooooo much! Perhaps because I share it :) Always a pleasure to watch the creativity Christine brings into the world, and especially when it comes to bringing this lovely old house back to life.
I adore the attention to detail she puts into everything she does. I imagine that’s probably pretty exhausting sometimes, but I love it. So beautiful!
I set tables for fancy banquets for a living. And I like your style so much better😊😊😊😊😊
I could watch Christine all day every day. Everything she creates is beautiful, thoughtful and has meaning. She is incredible!
I can't wait to see you do the kitchen
I love your sense of whimsy among the elegance. You're a woman after my own heart!!!
if you are watching this you should go to patreon and support Christine. She is a brilliant artist so worthy of our support.
Seriously! I was just thinking that her patreon is actually worth paying for. She truly has something to offer. So creative and talented.
Best decision I ever made!
I've never considered supporting a patreon before but you're right, her content is worth it.
Christine’s is the only Patreon account I have and I am not disappointed. My $3 seems like an absolute bargain.
@@writerleft2709 How often does she post if you are a Patreon ?
My goodness...you are an amazingly talented young woman. I think the secret to your success is the fact that you are willing to attempt most anything with an unfettered resolve that anything is possible!
It is so crazy that everything she does is absolutely perfect.
Christine I also have gold cutlery and Love it. I found it in an antique store 25 years ago and got it "for a song." It wasn't popular at that time.
Spectacular Christine! just like you, thank you 🥂🧚♀️😎.
You are from out of this world!!! So original. I can wait to see more of your videos.
Gothic Victorian elegance from a beautiful, creative and talented host with a sense of humor and and wonderment. I love everything you do. This house in New York is your perfect canvas.
Yessss! I'd much prefer coming along for the ride. You can always do a reveal at the end I'd rather see the details. So glad to see your videos!
PERFECTION 👌🏻 👌🏻 👌🏻
I wish I had one tenth the focus and drive Christine has! I know she’s a real human but she’s one of the most divine ethereal beings who reminds me that being eccentric is a good thing, that being a fussy perfectionist pays off.
Edit
I have tons of that type of tableware! It’s Portuguese and they have the BEST patterns and colors! They use animals and plants and just create some of the sweetest and sturdy table wear.
You can get it at TJMaxx well...20 years ago you could 😂
I bought OODLES
Thank you for making content. I am such a big fan and really enjoy the mixing of classical and spooky. I have chronic illness and autoimmune, so you have inspired me with plenty of inside projects and crafting.
I could watch her all day! She is extremely talented. She truly makes the most with the gifts she has been given.
One thing I will say in favour of adhering to the "rules" for these types of things is that it means that there is no confusion for your guests over what to use/do, which can happen if you forge your own path, if you will
Thank you! That is extremely beautiful and a wonderful idea to have a set table. I am now a proud mini member of your patreon and hope to have the discipline to restrict my watching. I think that the world is a far better place with you and your creativity in it! I will likely never do any specific project but your process has changed how I approach my own life. Your apron project was astouding and now I do take a few more moments on my own makeup in the morning and enjoy it more. You are the Wizard!!! With gratitude for all you do. Sincerest thanks, Joanne (Canada)🌏🌍🌎👠👠🇨🇦
Just three things to say...1. Fa 2. Bu 3. Lous! Best thing I have seen on the subject in a long while. Love the fantasy of it- stunning! I follow those rules too ...and break ‘ em ...oh, yes. BRAVA!
I feel like she is a mystical Goddess! Everything she does is sensational and with such detail!
The table setting is absolutely beautiful
OMG You're back!! You just made my day!
So lovely! And those darling elephants!!! 💜💜💜
I’m having a spooky elegant wedding on Oct 30th of this year and these videos that you’ve been posting lately are going to help me out immensely!!!
I don’t know how large a wedding you’re having, but those napkins are so beautiful .... I wonder how much someone would charge to make them - can you imagine them in black ?
Your esthetic of this dining room is one that is warm & welcoming! Capturing a large room and turning it into something cozy and intimate is a challenge! I don’t believe any of your guests would want to leave! 💕
I am a newer subscriber. I subscribed right when you found this place and moved in. Then I didn’t see a video from you for months and months. I know you want patreons, but there are over 300K of us that want to see your videos too. If I could afford it, I would send money. Please don’t leave us behind! I love everything you do! It was always my dream to live in an old Victorian home. 💗💕
This woman is my Creative Queen! 👸
