- Hey all, I hope you find this video is useful and enjoy it!
If you find I missed or presented any information about these weapons inaccurately please let me know in the comments. I am not a robot and double/triple checking event scripts made my eyes hurt. If any of the devs happen upon this video and want to drop some sweet sweet hints at future valyrian weapons I'd love to hear -- or if, you know, you wanna throw one to my boys at House Fossoway that'd be sick too.

You get a decision to try to recover brightroar as the house head of Lannister.
Oh word? That’s pretty dope.
I haven’t been able to succeed it yet unfortunately
@@Soul_Tomatoand lamentation as bronze yohn
@@kwiteloverboy Really? I didn't know that either. Huh.
it would be extremely funny if there is a 0% chance of it succeeding
Nightfall, the Valyrian steel sword of house Harlaw was originally taken by Dalton Greyjoy off a dead Corsair but it’s never mentioned how house Harlaw came into possession of Nightfall
Probably a nice bit of five finger magic
They paid the Iron Price for it of course. No seriously though, after Dalton Greyjoy died there was a bit of a civil war on the Iron Islands. My educated guess is that a kinsmen or Dalton younger brother, Veron Greyjoy, wielded the blade after his death and was killed in turn by another Iron Islander, maybe a Harlaw, who later claimed the sword as his own during this chaotic time.
An Adder is a type of Snake, and the Wyl Sigil is a Snake coiling around a leg. Thus, Adders Fang is an apt name for their family sword.
Well, there it is.
When the devs implement the dance bookmark, house Royce has a Valyrian steel sword named Lamentation that was lost and never seen again after Ser William Royce was killed trying to save Rhaenyra’s son Joffrey Velaryon
Edit : wrote this comment before you got to it in the video 😂
Pretty hype for the Dance ngl
House whent still exists as of the first book but theyre down to an old woman. According to littlefinger in affc she died at some point thus rendering house whent extinct.
Moral of the story, just don’t own Harrenhal.
@Soul_Tomato all the stark children have whent blood because Catalin's mother was a whent
Good video. Just a tip: you could have probably found the swords by opening the inventories of characters for whom they were not showing up under the prowess tooltip.
I honestly forgot I could do this until now and feel silly for not thinking this haha
Ser Harras is the Nephew of The house of Serrett in the Sterling Dutchy its how i got with some gold and hooks a good knight early on and a second valyrian blade for my House Serrett (made a cadet branch in a county of the dutch of my familie and passed the sword on to them) dont know if it helps the lore but mabye a point to start from XD
The “wavy” blade style of Adder’s Fang is called “flamberge”, which became popular during the Renaissance. It adds more shearing power to the sword, and cuts from flamberge swords would deal more damage than straight blades.
As if swords needed more shearing
@@Soul_Tomato Strangely enough, the flamberge was designed for facing the usual infantry at the time. Your typical Renaissance infantryman in Western Europe wore little to no armor, but baggy clothes with strips cut along the sleeves and pant legs. They were a fashion statement, yes. But sword slashes could actually get caught in that clothing, and the flamberge would help cut through it. What’s more, swordsmen at the time were often used for breaking up pike formations by cleaving the pike shafts. The flamberge helped with that too.
I think "Adders Fang" is a reference to when House Wyl had Aemon the Dragonknight as prisoner, and made king Baelor the Blessed walk through a snake pit to free his cousin.
That’s an interesting thought. Could be!
I had no idea there was so many Valyrian weapons in this mod.
And undoubtedly more to come!
It's Adder's fang because of the snake sigil, An Adder being a snake
Ohhhhh today I learned
Playing a Mallister run right now. When you start as Jason on the earlier start date he does not have a sword. Played as Patrek now. Started when he was a child and now in his 50s. Never got the sword or a decision. I’m assuming it’s for the later start date if accurate.
I believe so
An adder is a snake.
That's it. That's the reference.
Makes sense
Jon Roxton is the owner of Orphan-Maker
Thank you. I knew someone had to have it.
Pro tip add search and trade artifacts mod to see if you missed any.
Is it updated to the newest patch?
Unfortunately if you can form the Kingdom of the Banefort and become the Hooded King - you dont get a hood :(
Wouldn’t hurt to suggest this to the devs!
Does anyone else get horrible stutter after playing this mod for a 10 years?
I’ve got several plays of over 100 years but I have had this issue in base Crusader Kings before.
