After seeing this, I went to Davide’s. Reached at his pizzeria at 6.25 p.m. He stopped me at the gate and said “we are closed and will open at 6:30.” I said “well it’s just 5 mins. Can I wait inside for 5 mins?” Davide - No! i said it’s closed means it’s closed. you come after 5 mins if you want to. I was cool with it. My friend thought he was unnecessarily rude. I don’t care much because pizza was really good and delivery was superfast. By 6:45, food was on my table. Also, he has charming and beautiful wife. So whatever rudeness you will encounter, that would be setoff by the charming lady and the good food. Must try. Also, I love dominos too but please don’t expect anything like dominos here.

Being a chef I totally understand Davide you don't need to put up your thoughts into a food item let the chef present the food with his style n innovation. And if you don't like it then don't visit again simple fact. Now a days RUclips n insta is filled with wannabe food critic people who have zero knowledge about authenticity.

If you guys are still exploring goa... I would suggest Peep kitchen, Taleigaon use to see lots of crowd and heard good things about it Being a vegetarian, never stepped inside.!!

Just to add on.....madelines, though sponge cakes which are shaped like a shell are more often than not used in tiramisu, which instead uses ladyfingers or savoiardi which are crisp elongated finger shaped sponge. Indraneel, you are indeed absolutely correct. Ladyfingers or Savoiardi are used that absorb the moistrure just right. Madelines are used when none of the above are available.
The pizza looks great. You got to try Goodfellas in Benaulim, Goa and Brik Oven if you are in Bangalore anytime. Nothing beats these guys. I know my pizza 🍕 and wood fire is legit. Don't let no one fool you.
Davide wud be my protagonist when i make a movie abt the best dealer in goa whose front business is a gourmet pizza place...he justifies all his expenses and income with the imported ingredients and posh customers...this can be a great netflix limited series also
