I woke up depressed today - stuck at home in the lockdown, life's going nowhere. And then out of the blue youtube recommended this video. And it's absolutely flipped my mood. Reminded me that there's so much to look forward to once life gets back to normal. So in anticipation of all the good things that will come soon (inshallah), I'm going to ask the depression to fuck off. For today atleast. And then tomorrow I'll watch another video of yours 😅
@nishant we just checked out your stand up. Its refreshingly funny and entertaining. Ping us directly www.thebigforkers.com contact page or through IG.
The fact that you guys want to keep it hidden, says a lot about your commitment to food and preserving the hippie/bohemian culture that is quintessential to Goa.
A lot of people seem to know the name of the place but yeah you are right. If this was a televised show or if this channel would have had a wider reach(will for sure in future) it'll be different. Most of the restaurants these people visit would mostly benefit from a bigger crowd(some of them are already famous) but at places like these the locals would get upset if there was a huge tourist crowd. Many restaurants have gotten ruined due to heavy inflow of tourist crowds all over the world.
I don't think they have tried too much to keep it hidden, the names of the bars and pubs give it away... Its an awesome hook in start though, creates the curiosity for all to watch the full video...
This is what life should be like, chilled out, full of flavour and no non sense. The best thing I learnt in London was an unwritten law: you do not bother anyone and no one would bother you!
This is as realistic as it can get and you know they enjoy making it when they don't stick with a script (as most people do) and let the authenticity flow.. Cheers to Sid and Shanky🍻
PS: I get where they come from. I used to go to Gokarna and trek across the beaches, I have seen the alternative lifestyle get destroyed by over enthusiastic crowds. Totally justified.
Seriously I was the one who would never subscribe to any channel and a food channel would be the last one to be subscribed if I ever did. You guys changed me, your content is so natural and you know it eludes a energy that attracts you to you and here I am with you. Pure love to you guys.
Just loved, loved and loved the show... was recently in Goa for a while and i wish i could have gone to even 25% of these places... finished all the videos in straight two days.. just one humble request.. at the end of this series,, can u just put one more video.. summarizing your best experiences all through this journey and the worst (the one that u would suggest people to never go for)

Unfortunately majority of the tourist who fling to these places don't share the same ideas. I've seen the same thing happen to Anjuna, Tosh, Kasol, Gokarna, and a ton of other places that turned into a crowded mess since people started writing about them in blogs.
@Sonam Haldwani I see your point :) but all the places you mentioned are responsible for changing themselves according to Tourists...you cant blame the tourists because locals changed themselves for trying to earn money from tourists hence the commercialization of the above mentioned places...there are many places in Goa which are famous but they have not changed their core values...all I believe is that keeping the place secret because more people will start coming to visit is a little selfish :) :) but no blame to the guys they tried to share as much as they can

What are the odds, we saw this video in the morning, went to this place by evening and found Sid there, such a nice guy. We met him and talked for good 15 mins, he literally told us about the best places in Goa which are still to be explored. Prost !!!
I think you should've gone for a different color grading for Paulo's - the place has more of a grungy dive bar vibe, but you are making it look like a brightly lit bistro.
Nice Vlog,i am finding it hard to recognise this street i have been to every nook and corner thanks to my creepy apartment, couldnt stay alone till my uncle came home in that apartment. so thanks to my splendor and petrol price in Goa that time 2001 to be specific splendor could run 10kms by just whiff of petrol (JK).
