The Crew 2 - Mclaren P1 Boss Race using Mclaren F1 & Blackbird Porsche (Final Street Racing Event)

- The Keys To The City is the final race event of the Street Racing family, going against Edgar Tio Marquez in his Mclaren P1. Thought it will be fitting to bring the Mclaren F1 hypercar in this duel Analog vs Digital. The race is split whereby the first section is Hypercar discipline and the second half, you will transform into your chosen Street Race discipline car, in my case, Blackbird's Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6.
Played with keyboard, manual transmission.

I think there’s a lot of reasons why people aren’t getting this game. Cheesy dialogue and fake social media shit just top it off for me.
A lot of car sounds are inaccurate. Cars handle like boats. Loot box rng style vehicle upgrading. I really couldn’t justify getting this game over something like forza horizon, and that’s as a PS4 owner
Harry Buhse upgrading is kind of RMF but you are always getting better parts
In this world you need now 5hours to get max car And later you can just switch parts between cars
5hours is a low number for game this huge
It was 3hours but people said its too fast, you get bored with too good cars very quickly
Also its not like forza have accurate sounds either so I wouldnt take it as a reason. For example zonda And regera sound awesome there, i didnt had enough time with this game.
Forza And the crew are different games, forza has better tuning abilities but the crew has better world, much more interesting And fun to explore

@Mclaren Harrison I would disagree. Alot of the cars in TDU2 feel as if they have really stiff suspension. To the point that if you're driving fast enough and you land a jump, your car spazzes out of control and into a flip or roll. Graphically too, it feels like a downgrade from the first TDU.

You'd expect that for the last race you'd start off with something really dramatic. Very similar to The Crew 1. But instead the overall race itself seemed incredibly anti-climactic. I understand this has to appeal to the general audience of any age, but c'mon surely Ivory could've done something better than this. But hey, preferences, right?
This is only the final race of the Street Racing family. There are 3 more families and then there is an overall final event.

Paragleiber (Gleiber) Naturally I wouldn't really care about the other "families" seeing that the main reason why I got this game was for the street racing. TC2 really does seem like a big let down IMHO. It looks like TC1 with a revamped HUD and transition scenes.
The final race in the crew 1 was shit. The last few missions were a complete joke.

at least Lina Navarro had some umph on the delivery no matter how cringeworthy her lines were, this one however is just outright cringe - on dialogue AND (most importantly) DELIVERY.

It made me uninstall the Beta and genuinely not want to buy the game. That and the whole "followers" deal... And the fact that every single voice sounded like it was talking down to you.

At least NFS 2015 had some good cutscenes. From a technical perspective anyway, the acting was still pretty terrible.

It is too early to tell as I need my steering wheel user's lap time data. Unfortunately the game does not give lap times at the end of the race yet.
They should have gone for need for speed movie type ending with ppl crashing out dramatically until the final 2 lol

Yes, it takes the highest level. Or you can switch it at the part where you enter the gate before the race by pressing the switch button key.

I have them both and im not sure why but the f1 just feels nicer to drive and faster lets say my first impresions driving the p1 werent good the p1 one feels heavy and slow at turning and it dosent feel as fast or nimble as the f1 does and lets dont get started on the sound lol thats the most sad sounding v8 i ever heard the f1 v12 sounds agresive

I don’t mean to be rude but cutscenes shouldn’t make a racing game good, the gameplay should?
Off-road is horrible because you’re constantly fighting with the games horrible physics
Drag is okay but completely negligible and there is no online drag
Runner wasn’t fun and the cops aren’t fair to any degree. Their mechanics are busted and it’s really up to chance whether or not you get destroyed by them.
Racing was alright but way too easy. The only time you’d have to restart is if the dumbass ai knocked you off the road
Drift is crap too. The tracks were cool but it’s ruined by the game and score mechanics.
And then to top it all off they use rng loot crate performance upgrades which use a number scale to show you what events you should compete in, but the stats are not congruent with the numbers.
I played the game on hard difficulty and try as I might I could not complete a drift event even though I was at the recommended power level and hit every corner perfect, it still wasn’t enough because I didn’t have the right speed cards. So off to the slot machine I went.
The redeeming factors for me about payback was the graphics, sound, cars and customisation. But that doesn’t change the fact that the game is fundamentally bad. It’s a shame.
