So after she countered with $250k for 15%, it sounded like Nirav was willing to do that deal. Him taking only 5% and Kevin getting 10%. She must’ve not been paying attention to that because she ultimately gave away 2.5% more than she would’ve otherwise. Good job getting a deal though

Man Nirav is my favorite shark every episode he has been in and invested is nothing short of a learning in itself about a great entrepreneur. I Loved mark and lori before this but nirav is my new favorite now.

This is awesome. Passion and business sense. A hand up and not a handout for her African suppliers, a product that is well on its way to being proven sustainably, and a genuine plan of action. Plus it's clear she did her homework by watching past episodes. Africa can solve most of its own problems if only it didn't receive so much directed outside help.
Africa is a really big place! Maybe some countries in Africa could solve many of their own problems if they didn’t receive so much outside help, but that’s not true for all African countries. Africa can’t really be clumped together anymore than North America or Europe can be clumped together.
