- With the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X, the BMW Group provides a glimpse into the future of Sports Activity Vehicles. This vision car embodies the philosophy and technology of the Neue Klasse: electric, digital and circular.
The X models maintain their strong character:
monolithic, clean and with a very distinctive vertical interpretation of the BMW light signature. At the same time, they provide a holistic digital experience while serving as a living space on four wheels.

no idrive controller , and hate those captivity button on steering wheels , and what is wrong with having normal physical button for climate controls. absolutely loving the customization panoramic vision , next level design.

What’s the design logic behind a non-rectangular central screen? I would not want to have a tetrahedral IPad Pro, frankly, to work on
The iPad is directly in front of you. The CID is left/right of you. And the hand would cover the lower part of the display, so you can bring the CID nearer into the line of sight. I guess there are more reasons .. e.g. looks special/unique

I really appreciate the new BMW design language. Clean, modern and yet immediately recognizable as a BMW. Well done! I hope that we'll see a lot of the new design elements in the final production version. And I hope that the portfolio will be completed soon by a classical touring version of the Neue Klasse sedan 😉

Today we stand and watch this humanoid claiming to be a designer, which tells us that the BMW was beautiful but not aggressive. I don't know how many people realize, but it's like castrating a man, taking away his masculinity and saying he's beautiful even though he's no longer masculine. This is the ugliest, ugliest BMW ever built. What comes out of 2025 has forever made me a fan of Audi and Mercedes - Benz. BMW'S dead to me.

my thoughts on the interior
a) sustainable materials as standard are great
b) having the sides of the central screen tilted might look cool, but watching videos or creating apps for it will be painful
c) the panoramic vision display could actually show important information, such as pedestrians or animals that the car has detected (especially at night) instead of just the regular stuff you have shown here
Facelift the IX to look like this instead.
Now this called a cool car

FINALLY a very good design! I like all the car. Bright future if the production car looks like this.
Love the new design language, love the fact that it's an EV, hate all the electronic "foo-foo" crap/light-show entertainment going on inside. If I was designing an EV right now, it'd be a station wagon (NOT an SUV), have 400 horsepower, all wheel drive and a manual transmission.
Finally a bmw that is beautiful, the last they look great was the E90. If someone thinks this uglier then the current 7 or XM you need to get your eyes checked 😂
How big is the battery and real world mileage?
I stopped caring for cardesign after the merc w124... it was the pinacle of modernity for me as a kid. Everything after felt like some rounded retro mess....im happy that we get the cleaner modern lines back. Had to wait way too long for it.

They are making it too futuristic no neee of that now I want old BMW technologies and looks back those were superb
I'd be very much interested in range, charging speed, price and especially will Ionity (or some other charger company) be controlled how diligently they keep chargers in good condition so they are close to 100% reliable and we can drive as low as 5% (or less) like with Tesla's.

the rhomboidal screen is so over the top.. and now i see that icons on the screen are also rhomboidal.... the thing i always hated about merc-s the most is that the font is always in cursiv. WHY?

The Design is good, but I am not sure about this 3D-Lighteffect in the Kidney especially at the sedan. I think it looks cooler and cleaner with only the two lightstripes acitivated on each site. Hope you will be able to turn the 3D-Effect off. Also I think the sedan looks better than the SUV with the huge but slim kidney which integrats the light. Still it is missing some contours on the front lip, but with that fixed the sedan could be the best looking ev in its class. Also the Interieur concept is great.

Ok BMW kind of like where your are going with this. the Vision display if we have different driving modes will can the Vision display adapt to the mode? Also wing mirrors - I suppose these are now cameras integrated into the same display - of course the interesting thing will be pricing as always

This is really something to wait for. BMW is back on track with clever yet distinguishable and beautiful design. This is how the IX should look like.

Might be a stupid question but what would differentiate Neue Klasse to your avarage ev?
I get the new design language and idrive functions, but what makes it truly different?
I guess they built it completely new from the ground up leaving all the past of combustion engines behind.
Almost all the bmw’s evs today are build on a structure designed for combustion engine cars (the i4 is a 4 series grand coupe with and electric engine adapted). Neue Klasse architecture is designed and built for evs (for example, no tunnel for the transmission).
Century+ old German engineering firm sole manufacturer offering ICE, PHEV, BEV, Diesel & hydrogen on shared platforms and assembly lines. Bavarian MOTOR Works!

Nice design but I prefer to use the Touch Contoller (ruclips.net/video/WKmxrvDupCI/видео.html), Gesture Recognition (ruclips.net/video/1lxxky_vJH4/видео.html) & Voice Recognition systems in the car allowing navigation in HMI without having to touch any screen (which prevents fingerprints and also increases safety).
I don't want my future BMW to have the same user experience as a Tesla Model 3 which requires most of the time to touch the central display !
Love the Neue Klasse design language. It is very unique, striking and yet sophisticated.

I like it because the elements of being a BMW have been observed in the design according to the bad taste! In fact, you need a clean design in other classes, something that is really BMW! What's wrong with BMW's design room?
Massive improvement. The headlights need work, but this is worlds better than the SAV's in showrooms today.

In my opinion, it looks much better if the kidney grille is integrated with the headlight area like the NEUS KLASSE SEDAN CONCEPT.
If you want to inherit the 2002, make the headlights circular like 328 HOMMAGE CONCEPT...

The car has a huge glass roof. The heat inside the car would be unbearable unless... there's some technology that will stop the heat from entering the car. Does BMW have a solution to this problem? If YES, what is it?
Clean stuff. Better than the XM, better than the Benz EQ designs but has competition when it comes to the Audi etron designs. I like it

I just hope that the panoramic display would be an option and would not come as a standard because it's too distracting in my opinion. I would not be able to determine whether to look at the centre display or on that panoramic one.

That grill is becoming an obsession. It is a relic anaway.
Since the cybertruck this implementation of sturdy look by BMW is sturdy nor elegant.

The classic grille looks nice, but the headlights doesn't work well with it. I think this car would have a much better face/personality with round headlights. This concept is better than the previous, but still missing something in the front.
This is more like it. and looking like software inteface friendliness is improved too, before the menus were just so confusing even in all latest models. That's why i bought tesla instead.

There are so many elements in the new design. Although it looks clear and pleasing, the overall user experience does not convince me. I feel that the panoramic display is excessive, with too much information spread across the front panel. The right information in the right place is important, but I have doubts that having so much information is the best approach. Additionally, I dislike touch buttons because they require more attention to use and can take time to get used to.
Where are those sporty BMW exterior lines that have defined the brand itself for decades?

The headlights plus grill design look like two side by side uhhh peni5es with the grill being the base and headlights being the rest…

I suppose beauty, elegance and function are no longer important ... the only goal is being "futuristic". Everything feels super artifical instead of natural. Personally, I don't see joy in such a car. What is the difference between BMW electric and any other electric car? - the shape of the screens ... Futuristic shouldn't mean "soulless"

Finally, BMW is getting it... Clean design is more attractive, is ageing better and lasts longer! It just took them 3 decades to get their head around it... 😂🤣
