Even without a singer Asterism delivers an amazing performance with just their drum bass and guitar. The lead guitarist is a teen with extremely breathtaking talent. Each of the members of Asterism bring something absolutely amazing to their band and truly you can feel the emotion off every beat.

Well... Asterism would have to be one. Snarky Puppy would be another, although a very different style. Both bands have done a few vocals, but they are mostly instrumental.

If you like noise or experimental music, there are another great instrumental band from Japan named "Mono"
This is probably their slowest song. Most of their stuff is very metal. I often listen to them all day long.
I think this is their most chillest song, they are a very young instrument band, guitarist hal-ca and bassist miyu were both born in 2002, drummer mio was born in 1999, although they are very young, but asterism is a band that has been around for about 9 years, they are all amazing talented musicians. I recommend《dawn》live or 《stars》live in studio as the next🤘🏻🔥

I love how they call back to the opening theme for just a few notes, before heading off into the stratosphere for another section.

Another best song, Gunfire also live in studio but the best and my favorite is Dawn, live in club. Never boring to hear Dawn again and again and the best part is when she using WAH pedal and I love that sound.🎸
Congratulations on finding, imo, the best instruMETAL band in the world. Guitarist Haruka (Hal-Ca), born Nov. 23, 2002, was 18 in this. She just turned 20. Bassist Miyu is also 20, will turn 21 in March. His brother Mio on drums is 23 right now. They are together since Haruka was 11 yo.
They are otherworldly good, please try "Dawn" next 🤘🏻🙂
I love the atmospheric parts of this cut. HAL-CA loves to shred a bit too much and could learn that allowing notes to breathe a bit really helps

crazy talented sometimes I don't need lyrics just the instrumental I have so many songs with just there instrumental on my spotify but now I got these and I don't have to search instrumental because thats all they do love it

Love the face you make when you realize Hal-CA is the best guitarist of the next generation. She was 17 when she recorded this, I do believe she's still 20 now, bassist Miyu is 21, drummer Miu is 22. The album this is off of, Guernica+ is a concept album about the Pablo Picasso painting of the same name, definitely worth checking out in its entirety, and maturity way beyond the years of three teenagers. They've been together for over ten years now. I had the great pleasure of seeing them back in August, and they are just as sick live.

Welcome to ASTERISM, one of the best instrumental metal trios you will find. That 7-string is a custom ESP bass specially made for MIYU. He plays both bass and mid-range "rhythm guitar" parts on that. IMHO they really don't need a singer; that would just mess up what makes them so unique & special now. In fact, check out the songs from their latest album, Animetic, where they have taken anime songs, and rearranged them with the original vocal parts played on lead guitar by HAL-CA, e.g. unravel "Tokyo Ghoul": ruclips.net/video/CZ8aJPv616c/видео.html

Totally agree i did not realize (as this was my first time hearing them) that they truly had no singer which imo truly gives them a unique edge. Really good music to chill to and or just vibe with
Most talented trio since Cream (1966-68). Hal-Ca started the guitar at 10 and joined the brothers to form Asterism at 11. Generational talents at each position. Miyu plays that custom made ESP like an old pro. That bass was made only for him at 17 by ESP and is one of a kind. His brother Mii on drums is often overlooked but he keeps these 2 beasts on track in every song, not an easy feat to say the least. Love Hal-Ca and her banged up Thrift Shop looking Yamaha Pacific that she makes sing. No vocalist as their music does the signing. If you want a taste of metal try Dawn LIVE at a small club due to ages (still in high school). The talent here is just mind blowing. You can also try SRV Scuttle Buttin LIVE in Texas when they were still high schoolers to really leave your brain screaming.
Miyu was playing a 7 string bass when he was 12 or 13.
