The only legend who slapped a bat in game
MartialMan 😂
I truly believe they need to hire Manu just to get those bats at the arena. They caused some problems quite a few times post Manu's retirement and nobody hasn't been able to step up to stop them.
MartialMan that deserved a standing ovation 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏
"yo manu, this is joker from gotham, got a minute?"
I'd like to see LeBron slap a bat outta the air lol.
"He always put his ego last" - best part
Agree ❤️👍
As a Rockets fan, I hated the Spurs because they were just too good. It was a poetry in motion watching these guys play. These 3 never got cocky or did a shimmy, they'll just make a basket and got back on D. Respect to them for allowing me to witness a great team.
As a spurs fan I hated the rockets because they are not good at basketball
@@anthonycornelius7967 lol
Anthony Cornelius original commenter showing respect to opponent.... you popping in with dumbass, unfunny comment. Great job.
@@JasonWindsor88 I agree. Someone shows class and then someone tries to take it away. But let them lie in their own bed.
@@anthonycornelius7967 you got their attention, you're a legend....
Spurs will never be the same after these four
pimpin jack they will tho
So it goes
@@swervo1506 They wont
The NBA will never be the same. The Spurs were the last of the Dynasties. Now we are in the Superteam era. A team is very good, then comes free agency and everyone leaves and the team sucks. Over and over. No more dynasties, just superteams.
Yeah, looks like their streak of making the playoffs is gonna end this year.
All the dudes I grew up watching are just about gone.
Yeap. We are getting older...
For real man
Reduced to atoms
only one left for me is Vince Carter.
Thats true? Legends never dies!!
To those belittling Manu because of his "average" numbers, ya'll gotta look at his field goal attempts per game before ya'll even talk trash about him. The man averaged a modest 10 FG attempts per game for his career, peaking at 13 attempts a game in the 07-08 season. Is there even a superstar taking that few shots? The man is the true definition of a team-first player.
Numbers don't lie: that is a true saying, yes they are facts, but one should also consider that they are also NOT everything
It's a Spurs thing too. They'll do everything to slow the pace down. That's why if you look at Tim Duncan's stats, you'll scratch your head on how this guy can get 5 rings for being the best player on the team.
Gosh... Only team that I was afraid of as a Lakers fan back in late 90's and trough 2000's... Tim, Tony and Manu... True legends of basketball
I’m a Lakers fan and I know it was more like the nuggets with melo and the Mavericks but especially the spurs then the thunder coming up
@Big Balls yah but they hardly beat them in the playoffs. They only beat the lakers when kobe got injured
Manu and tony weren’t on the team in the 90s
@Big Balls yeah true fucking spurs were always tough
How about David Robinson
respect to Lou Williams and other sixth man of the year but definitely Manu is the greatest sixth man of the year. .a great player inside and out. .his basketball I.Q is just insane he knows everything about basketball and how to play it. .his not just a SPURS LEGEND but an NBA LEGEND.
of the year you mean of all time?
maybe some time the 6th man of the year award will be "Manu Ginobili 6th Man of the Year Award" for sure
@@aaymanafzal2499 if so i disagree. John havileck > Manu hands down as a 6th man
@@unbiasvsbias3955 Havlicek play in a a team with multiple all star and a league players won’t athletic
@@unbiasvsbias3955 no, manu is better, no disrespect to Havlicek, he was good, but manu was by far the better player
From Emmanuel Ginobili to the NBA Hall of Fame. Great journey
Ginobli is one of my favorite players of all time. Legit cried when he finally announced he retired. The guy is just so creative, and insightful, and has such an obvious love of the game. I hope he goes into coaching one of these days. Class act that deserves this and so many more honors. Mucho respecto Manu!
i cried too bro
He’s wonderful!
The most underrated dynasty. Even Kobe once said he woulda had like 10 rings if the spurs werent around.
Tim Duncan is living proof Lebron can grow back his hairline if he retires 🤣🤣🤣
Timmy never lost it.. LeChina literally is 60% bald. Its not just his hairline.. 60% of his hair is fake lol
Manu has more natural hair than he does.
@@spurs_7798 you are a Lebron hater
@@andrewliu111 Are you saying Im wrong? Or are you just bitching around?
@@spurs_7798 neither. I just don’t like the name LeChina. Don’t get me wrong I am from Singapore but I just do not like that name. People who chose not to speak against China doesn’t mean they are pro China.
@@andrewliu111 Daryl Morey stated that he's for the Fight for freedom in Hong Kong.. he chose freedom over profit. LeBitch called him uneducated. He's the biggest hypocrite in US Sports and a human piece of trash. He's a great player but one of the worst people in Sports. He acts like he's about equailty, freedom and stuff.. but its just a show. His pro-China stand proves that. Like most liberal people, he doesnt care about the people under him. He just cares about cash. He threw people, that were fighting a communist oppressor with stones, under the bus, because he wanted to sell shoes and his movie in the biggest economy in the world. He would've become a billionaire with out it.. but its not enough for greedy LeChina. Yes, Im a hater of him. But I have a great fucking reason for it.
Remembering Timmy's professional days with... 'unique' taste in his looks, I'm quite flabbergasted by his new look after his retirement. Look at his hair. WOW!
Looks ugly😭
Vanessa gave him the drip lol
Imagine being pop and the emotions that goes thru him as he sees all this from start to end and be like damn it feels like yesterday we won our first chip together
Tony Parker has a future as a comedian 😂
He used to be a rapper
@@vnthony2439 Looool, after you said it, I check it, and he actually had a song😂
Seeing these guys just being guys as a Dallas fan makes them really hard to hate. We get caught up in rivalry and quit seeing them as anything but the hated enemy. Sports and politics really squews our ability to see people for what they really are. People
The best 6th man of all time its not even close...
The only person who gave prime bryant a run for his money and was coming off the bench. #legend #graciasmanu
Agree... no contest... he was the second best SG after Kobe. A great defender, he really understands the game... I think no one play with his intensity in today’s basketball. I love the game and he was 100% intensity. A winner. A goat
@@nicolaszyx3120 manu was not better than dwade
@Bob Suma I loved watching j crossover play but come on dude it’s not even close manu is the best 6 man ever
Never forget who “invented” the eurostep..
@@mitch3613 if he was a starter manu would have, but again coming off the bench and can drop 20+points & 5+ assists, these are a starter SG's numbers and he's doing it coming off the bench
when Kobe says you a bad dude on the court, you know you a bad dude on the court...much respect Manu.
These three were never fancy, the best I've ever seen play the fundamentals. Make shots and defends like no man's business
Ashioma Medi manu was a fancy, just was not cocky, and were legends, played the game as a team, not selfish.
I miss these three playing. Thank you for the memories. GOATS
He's got 3 boys, let's see if any of them will follow pop's steps.
@Jon Doe Manu's kids as players I meant
pop's and Pop's are two diff things
Anyone here remember Fabricio Oberto from NBA Live '08? Good ol' days 😌
He was garbage in 07 tho 😅
CONGRATS MANU ! loved the way you played the game " Mr. Eurostep " !
I'm a die hard celtics fan, but damn the spurs organization is just so great. You can see real chemistry among (not just players) but human beings
I'm a Dallas fan and it's hard to hate them watching this.
I believe Tim Duncan, besides Popovich, is also a part of the USA basketball team that lost to Argentina in the 2004 Olympics. By the way, this is the best retirement ceremony that I ever saw.
Allen Iverson and Stephon Marbury are cancer to any locker room.

Manu's life can be flashbacked MANY HAIRS AGO. He was so great!
My West team is Spurs because of Manu, Tim and Tony.
Its the beautiful game they got me.
As a Lakers fan I always hated having to play the Spurs in the playoffs. They brought out the A-game in the Lakers and it was a fun rivalry. From 1999-2014 the Lakers and Spurs were the standard of excellence in basketball. Much respect for the Spurs they really are one of their classier organizations in all of the professional sports.
Duncan's pronunciation of Ginobili's name was great. That was exactly how they said it on his draft night. Spot on Timmy!!!
MVP in 2007-2008 nba season in my heart!!!!
Manu Ginobili
Manu is the only player who dont have the title of a superstar but you know he can really play and hold the superstars
Yes he can put up numbers in his prime and i can argue that he can put up numbers like james harden. But he wants to win thats his first priority and with the talent the spurs have... he paved way for some championship doing those sacrifices. Mad respect
@@Sparkpark228 he is unique...his ferociousness in driving and making thos difficult shots...his drive to win ...his competitiveness.... manu was always the spurs trumpcard... he changed the game everytime he set the floor...
maybe because he played for the team, not for himself. Manu is teamplay
Man some ninjas must have been cutting onions, it's tough watching this. Much love to Manu, an icon of playing the right way, the epitome of a team player, the legend! He could have been the scoring leader on a lot of teams, starting, yet he was always willing to do anything and everything to help his team win, off the bench. And he was a killer, always coming through in the clutch: on offence as well as defence. Anytime the Spurs needed a bucket, Manu could get it. An Absolute HOFer
You know your getting old when these guys are getting retired like what the hell man bring back the memories
Wait till your my age and can remember watching the Nick's playing in the NBA finals
A true legend. Only player in NBA history to require a rabies shot mid game.
Carlos Orama huh
nalim lattarai referring to when manu caught a bat
monster trio.. manu, tim, tony
And kawhi too.
We’ll never see this kind of 3player with one of the best Coach ever in one team. Amazing career for the 4 of them.
Thanks for putting this up on RUclips. I'm crying while watching this. Missing the old Spurs team.
God bless. 🙂
16:40 💖 Priceless...
You teached him well...
Best Coach. Its like a Father and Son...
Long live Spurs!!
Hands down one of the most humble, most powerful trio to ever do it!! Kudos to the TRIO!! And having COACH POPS, hands down ultimate deal breaker!
Man Timmy manu then Parker what an era for these 3 goats truly great full for the memories these guys shared with us 💯
Manu will always be my favorite player of all time. I put Manu up there with the all time greats
The euro step, the tear drop and the bank shot-manu tony timmy
As a Dallas fan this bunch of people are the baine of my existence. But watching them just them as people you get an idea why they won so much. Pop is a piece of work no matter who he works for. His lines to the press are priceless, but his players love him. Parkers line about Manu being Manu was great, along with Pops brown hair. The Spurs are first class and their tribute to Dirk was proof of that.
Timmy d rockin that style
Spurs is the world coalition of the NBA. Always had the most immigrant players on the roster. My second favorite tean after the Celtics. Manu was class act and showtime with his awkward but lethal ball skills. Great compliment to the Big Funndamentals and rest of the Spurs players. That why they always went far and one the the best organizations in Sports.. small market too...respect!!
Big Up all the Crucian dem!
Fundamentals aren't flashy but its proven time and time that it can and will win championships.
Dallas may have had a year or two with most foreign born players. When they had Wennigton, Blab, Blackman born in Panama, Shermpf, and some others I'm drawing a blank on at the moment.
If you love basketball you must love Manu.Thank you for great moments.
They were playing that song from the Band of Brothers when Tim hugged Manu! They were, indeed, a band of brothers.
Gregg Popovich said so himself, Manu Ginobili will be a hall of famer coming off the bench!
We will miss this trio! Thanks for all the happiness you've given to the Spurs fans! Good luck on your retirement! God bless! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The true and best Big 3 of the 21 century.
I was at this game and it felt amazing.
Also I loved the caps they gave us
Wing wong I was there toooo
They gave everyone caps? thats awesome!
Can you send me one I'm in San Angelo Texas via mail
Is there some wing wong?
It was optional to stay for this
Manu could be next coach of Spurs for me
*Manu is a true Legend!*
I always want to hear POPS. He loves him damn... emotional
True superstar, True Legend
Notice how Manu perks up when pop starts talking that’s awesome man shows how much Manu looked up to and respected and trusted pop and how much they needed each other.
Not a Spurs fan but u guys do it right much respect
Totally loved this Team by stopping the Pistons!
BOMBAATA Wilt Chamberlain 2K 20K shut up you butthurt bitch
Timmy doesn't want to be praised haha. I remember his guesting on David Letterman and you can tell the respect David had on Timmy. Thank you Manu.
It's so emotional seeing people who made a big impact on the game retire.
Tim Duncan with a suit, nice cut and talks. Damn I must be older
I was always afraid of Manu when the Lakers played against San Antonio.
cause manu would freelance...he wasn't a system player at all...he would play random usually
No caps lol
Real talk
Asmosis Jones Actually he was very much a system player. He just knew when and how to step outside the system without messing up.
classic rivalry. the memories.
I love Manu!! You are great person and humand 💙💙💙
When tony say's " to me he is the defination of spurs basketball because he always put his ego last" he touch manu,i feel manu emotion you can see in his almost cry after tony say it..🙂
Not gonna lie manu change the game with his acrobatic game ...
Charles Barkley should of been there say his word Ginobill

#EuroGod Salute from a Lakers fan that HATED playing you.... Well deserved
Legend architect
The fierceless freaking architect of nba and San Antonio Spurs🔥
The great 3 players in spurs in history thats has a teamwork. I miss the old spurs and the ball movement they play in history
Best trio in NBA besides MJ, Scottie Pippen, & Dennis Rodman
I can't believe I witnessed the beginning and the end of the most powerful Trio in NBA history! 😭
The good ol' days 😭
Man I remember them playing the lakers and I was echoing Barkley’s chants “Ginobli! Ginobli!” Except prefefaced with a few more cuss words! Ginobli was straight up relentlessly amazing
Manu could play with the best of them, as a Lakers fan, he was also a big game player who delivered in crunch time, making great plays.
That's true haha. The long haired Manu while wearing a headband like he's playing Argentinian futbol. Swag!
tony can make jokes.
nothing to say but RESPECT!
Best 6th Man ever. Manu Ginobili, a true legend, a true competitor, a true gentleman, Mr Eurostep!!!!! Hall of Fame!!!!We love you
They are all funny as hell. Maybe happiness was their secret
You can kind of see how they stayed together so long, which if you look at the NBA today just does not happen. You are hard pressed to find single players that stay with a team very long
Something about Pop that he makes every player so humble, down to earth, i bet every player treats him like a father
Harden, westbrook, kyrie and other Nba players must learn from them.
Tommy, Parker, Ginnobili they played for the team. No personal egos.
That is the reason thry are so
successful.
One of the best left-hand players in the game. He was inspiring me.
I wonder what Timmy and Tony felt when Pop said that Manu is special because his heart is in the right place with his family.
What do you mean?
Talo Toecan Manu is the only one that’s married and has a family. TP cheated and Timmy is divorced
@@thunder2ray242 oh ok thank you. On the other hand they may don't feel bad at all, for example if you see a couple kissing and you are single doesn't necessarily mean you feel bad... you could think they are cute together without being jealous

The world recognise him as the greatest 🔥👍
